The number isn't really going to tell you much of anything.

Or each year we have CSM members elected with mindless bloc votes, without knowing anything about their RL qualities or political background. It's ridiculous, I agree.
But candidate was removed after end of pre-election, and voters have right to know all results without censorship.
Otherwise you can't call this circus as "election".

Please see my statement above about disclosure of endorsement numbers for those who did not qualify. This is also not the thread for discussing those who did not move on to the Final Ballot. If you wish to do so, you may do so in Jita Park Speakers Corner.

I know Sad

Thats why I put this out there (Shameless forum post plug)

How do we get the voters to turnout?

I thought it was a nice turnout, considering it's about endorsements, not the actual election.

Compare it to signature gathering you have to do when running for a national political office.
It's not about getting everyone to endorse/sign, it's about showing that you have a sufficient group of supporters.

Hello as it is now the 4th officially and the voting site is not up, could we get an ETA?

I was kind of expecting it to come up a minute after midnight.

Thanks

I concur. As Trebor correctly points out, a lot of us (including myself) let our supporters know when we passed the post and asked them to spread their endorsements to other candidates so that everyone could participate.

That said, obviously, I'm thrilled and humbled by the show of support for my candidacy here. Thanks very much, everyone!

Well CCP said, they kept the prelims small on purpose to not force too many non hardcore players to have to vote twice when it probably wasn't needed.

Plus they wanted to start the main advertising program after the prelim. So lets see how good their advertising is, then see how many voters we expect to show up.

The voting website requires a deployment from our web team to change. While I have repeatedly petitioned that we keep them in cages in the office and work them around the clock, my requests continue to fall on deaf ears.

The voting site should go up around 1200 GMT.

Thanks for the response.

I would also like to point out at this time that if CCP were to confiscate the passports of it's employees and bribe the airports and shipping to put them on the no-travel list. Things like this would not happen.

This would also help CCPs bottom line as they could then keep them in cages and only have to pay overseers, while feeding them gruel. Lol

Congratulations to those who made the ballot!

To CCP Dolan,
Psychotic Monk is only showing "504" and not "504 Endorsements." Just a minor nitpick but wanted to let you know anyway :)

Good luck to everyone in the election!

lolriverini and teg :D proves that any publicity is good publicity, or then people just think that voting for joke candidates is funny when they accidentally get through.

Oh and a bunch of random unknown nullseccers, I'm glad there are many good choices as well, and most importantly, all wh candidates got endorsed along with Mang and Malcanis.

Since the current STV system allows you (and in fact encourages you!) to make a list, I highly recommend that people take a look at which candidates match their views through Vote Match. It makes making a list of 14 candidates a lot easier!

And tell your friends!

Consider the WH candidates, if you enjoy small-gang PvP. There are other factors involved that they need to be concerned with, but even the fleets we call "blobs" are small gang by the standards of Nullsec.
