Yes, it's been difficult getting the 'look' I really wanted her to have. Attempted to convey the illusion that Sivney was leaning comfortably against a wall, and then use the lighting to support the realism. Pretty happy with it, but I do occasionally make adjustments.

@Fred

Facial expression is good, but not sure if I like the hair color. Tattoo is hard to pull off, so maybe adjust his facial direction and/or lighting? Either way, looks decent enough. --- 7/10 ---

@Sivney: perhaps the body just a little more towards the camera so the back is hidden...would perhaps improve your intention :)

The Kaltanas have such realistic features and your new portrait kind of hides some of them with the shadows, which is a shame. But I still like it.

For some reason you look more a sad than serious, probably it's the lip corners. Also your face merges too much with the background, it could use some extra lighting. Will say 7.5/10 because ti's a good avatar, but can be improved.


Look at that area where the light hits the very edge of the face... see how it melted there?? that's what happens when you get hit by amarr lazorz.

Don't engage Amarr unless you know what you're doing. That's how I lost my left eye.

I'd have to say 8.5-9/10. I like how she looks like a real woman, someone I might walk past on the street. Her skin isn't perfect, nose is a little big, etc. It makes her very believable, as opposed to all the barbies you see everywhere. A breath of fresh air.

Dark hair looks great on Alice. A bit frowny though. Indah looks great with the new top.

I've been meaning to commend this portrait for a while. For looking not only great but very real too.

The very sun of heaven seemed distorted when viewed through the polarising miasma welling out from this sea-soaked perversion, and twisted menace and suspense lurked leeringly in those crazily elusive angles of carven rock where a second glance shewed concavity after the first shewed convexity.
