The Pre-elections for the 8th Council of Stellar Management (CSM) have closed. This is the first year we have done a pre-election like this and we are proud to say that far more candidates proved themselves qualified then we would have ever thought. To find out more about the candidates that qualified and their platforms, as well as details on the coming election, please click here.

CCP Dolan, can we have Fon Revedhort's endorsement results, just to make things clear?
He was removed from final ballot but it will be fair to know the pre-election results, isn't it?

Looking forward to seeing what publicity you guys come up with for the actual election.

Would be great to see a decent turnout.

Too bad Paul couldn't run. Guess I have votes up for grabs... I have no idea who to vote for. Who's the lowsec candidate?

Signatures should be used responsibly...

I bet that "would have the potential to create charged situations".

"Being supporters of free speech and free and open [CSM] elections... we removed Fon Revedhort from eligibility". CCP, April 2013.

Why does it matter? Everyone who endorsed them threw away their chance to go with an actual candidate.

It matters, because it's interesting to see actual number of voters who didn't care about PR disaster and propaganda and just voted for candidate program.

If any candidate who did not qualify for the final ballot wants to ask me about their endorsement count in the pre-election they can feel free to email me. They can do whatever they want with that number (provided it is the actual number), but beyond that I will not be posting the details of anyone who has been excluded from the final ballot.

Or they were voters who either shared his views, were completely ignorant of them, or were just trying to stir the pot.
The number isn't really going to tell you much of anything.

Keep in mind that many candidates announced when they had met the threshold. I qualified the first day, and then encouraged my supporters to use their endorsements to ensure that other reasonable candidates qualified as well.

Turnout in "primaries" is always less than in the main elections.

Or each year we have CSM members elected with mindless bloc votes, without knowing anything about their RL qualities or political background. It's ridiculous, I agree.
But candidate was removed after end of pre-election, and voters have right to know all results without censorship.
Otherwise you can't call this circus as "election".

Not really, no. This isn't your country's government, it's a gaming company who decided you should have a voice. If it wants to it can take away your voice. You don't really have any rights in the matter.
