This intro of Fred Fred Frederation is centered around Fred’s recent activity in null security space. The intro is simply a montage Fred’s ships getting destroyed and himself getting podded while the YC 112 overture, famed for using actual artillery guns in the music score, begins to play in the background.

Good evening New Eden! I’d like to apologize for the lack of episodes as of late. My temporary employment at The Scope: Galactic News Network has come to a close with my recent employment in the Eve Defense Force, a corporation that currently flies with tribal band. There were some legal matters over my show that needed to be taken care of but everything is good now! We just need to run this little disclaimer at the beginning of each episode now.

Fred cue’s the audio recording and on screen text

The following program does not represent the opinions of the Eve Defense Force, the Tribal Band capsuleer alliance, and The Scope: Galactic News Network.

There we go, now nobody can sue me! However, that voice is very bland. How about we get a cute Sebiestor girl to read that for us? Gotta love ‘em, just be careful gentlemen, those Sebiestor girls are most likely smarter and tougher than you! It’s quite a deadly combination. No really, half the time I meet one of those girls in space I wake up in a new clone!

Anyway, on with the show. Things are calming down just a little bit on the news feeds which is pretty bad because now all people are talking about is celebrity gossip. Seriously, who the hell cares about Sephile Creoll and her habit of constantly breaking up with guys just to write a break up song about it? I don’t! But whatever, I digress.

First on the agenda are the relief efforts on Caldari Prime. It seems that on the ground, things that are beginning to wind down. Sadly our Gallente comrades are getting pummeled by tyrannical Provist forces though at this point I’d rather much see an ending to the fighting than a Gallente flag flying over a pile of rubble. Also it appears that the Goons are just being Goons again. Their attempt to attack the Ishukone relief fleet has shocked many but personally I’m not very surprised by it at all. Remember last year? Their raid on the Jita 4-4 station nearly caused brief economic depression within the Caldari state as many people decided that hubs such as Amarr would be safer places to conduct business.

I’ve talked with several people about the Goonswarm Federation’s motives for attacking the convoy, but to me the Goons never really have a motive other than causing chaos and mass hysteria for their own benefit. I don’t have a personal problem with the Goons though, they are a lot of fun to shoot at.

Regardless of the Goon’s typical antics, it appears that Caldari Prime may actually see peace. First I would like to give a shout out to all who are backing Ishukone in the relief effort, regardless of what any other motives for doing so may be.

But yeah, back to the peace on Caldari Prime. Holy smokes! I can’t believe I’m using “peace” and “Caldari Prime” in the same sentence without it being something like “Caldari Prime will never see peace ever for all eternity of foreverness.” In case you guys haven’t heard, the planet is being turned into a Demilitarized Zone or DMZ. That means there will be no death fleets in orbit, or any soldiers on the ground. State and Federation forces will not set foot or fly above the tattered planet.

Ishukone and their allies in this matter of demonstrated the ability that the State has to not only unite as a force for good in the galaxy but also to show that Heth can go **** off. It just goes to show how deranged Heth is. The Caldari still control their home world and now there won’t ever be fighting over it again (provided proper measures are taken). Heth clearly cares less about the wellbeing of the State, and more about the destruction of our Federation.

Jacus Roden also deserves quite a bit of credit as well. This president has been a very odd one in my books. Half the time I like what he is doing and the other half of the time I downright despise it. Whatever the case may be, it is clear that he is working for the betterment of the Federation and New Eden as a whole. He could make mountains of money out of the arms sales and manufacturing if things continued to escalate further. Yet despite what he could personally gain out of this, he isn’t giving into greed.

I’m afraid that is all we have time for tonight my friends! It’s great to be back and speak to all of you again! Oh and don’t forget to feed your drones!

That may be stretching the truth a bit, just a tiny bit.

I can't be too sure about that. Jita is the economic heart of not only The State but New Eden as well, at least for us capsuleers. While business was safely conducted within the station, the inability to transport materials in and out of the station for trade and manufacturing hurt many people, even if just for a few days.

Granted there wasn't any catastrophic economic damage, but anyone who didn't prepare for it was hurting, which was a surprisingly large number of people.

"Burn Jita" was an event that clearly showed the power and influence that an organized group of capsuleers can have on our little galaxy of ours.

Burn Jita was a boon to every other trade hub, however.

The money didn't stop flowing, it merely changed channels.

Anyway... did anyone happen to catch the interview with Roden?
