Is there a market for buying and selling corpses?

As to the original question, I know several players who collect corpses. One guy in particular has hundreds of them, I've seen the screenshots LOL. Anyway, I used to be in a corp with Mr. Corpse Collector. One time, I mentioned in corp chat that I was taking the pod express to avoid a long trip and he and another corp mate made a mad dash to my location and waited for my pod to asplode. They actually ended up shooting each other and fighting over it.

Of course there was goading in corp chat about the horrible things he was going to do with my frozen corpse, but aside from that, I don't understand the point in collecting them.

Depends on the corpse. You're probably not going to get much if anything for the corpse of some regular guy but if you manage to pod kill say, The Mitanni or someone else that's very well known then you could sell it for a lot of money.

I found a fellow's corpse when I first started (which was only about a month ago) and picked it up not knowing if it was worth anything. Later I tried to send him an evemail to get it to him if he wanted it as a trophy.. but he never responded. How many of you have your own corpse on ice somewhere?

I can confirm that there is indeed a market for corpses. I have been exporting and processing many corpses in order to make a profit. The profit of love, frozen floaty love.

Many of us treasure our corpse collection. Thankfully our FCs usually allow me to collect up corpses while others salvage the wrecks :D

And male corpses are the best, rigor mortis IS a girls best friend after all.
