Highest DPS at around or over 100km

Leaving Officer mods out of it. Which ship can deal the most DPS at a 100km or over?

Tank not needed, pain only.

Best I've gotten without implants and T1 ammo (not faction, the real cheap T1) is 1100 DPS from a Navy Domi, is there something better available?

Please keep in mind that you also need to be able to lock that far, preferably even over 150km. Cause I forgot that at first lol

I think your Domi fit is probably about as good as your going to get without jumping to capitals.

371km optimal + 40km falloff
376km lockrange
2000ms fast

but with some fleet boosters and stuff you could probably get better stats

I don't think it's gate camping because he's looking at battleships. Battleships have terrible lock time and sustained damage barely matters at all. The Correct Answer for gate camping is Arty Nado at 155km from the gate. My guess is POS assault.

Vindi not enough mids for sebo, omni and tracking comps, remember the locking range and the fact the drones dont hit that far without omni's. Same goes for rails and T1 ammo they need tracking comps. Lows need to be filled for DPS. Anyways even if it had the lock range and the fire range on guns as well as drones the DPS would be the same as the Navy Domi. So unless I've overseen a fit the Vindi is not a contender.

NM with T1 crystals came in with lower DPS before I even tried to get the right shooting range and locking range so the NM is also not a contender.

I'm having trouble seeing how your Navy Domi can do 1100 DPS at 100+KM. (I'm looking at just T2, no bling, perfect skills)

425 rails with Antimatter with 3 stabs and 5 warden2's with 4 DDA's. Paper DPS is 1096. 600 drone, 496 gun
But that gun DPS is at 51+58km with 3 range scripted TC's. It will only do 248 dps at 100km. Thorium will get you 372 paper 364 applied at that range. Thorium with navy mag stabs brings it up to 384, or a total of 993 dps. That's a ways off 1100.

The drones will reach out 114 km with two omni's and a SeBo rounding out mids. But do 0 DPS at 100km. You can only order them to attack targets up to 60km away without dropping rails for drone link augmentors. Need two for 108km control range, down to ~850 dps at 100km.

Using three Drone control range rigs on a dedicated ship just for this you get 105k drone range, but that still needs a 1% power implant. Needs navy mag stabs to fit with 3 CPU to spare - With drone rigging 5 that is. Drone rig 4 needs a 3% CPU implant. That still applies only 992 dps at 100k.

What am I missing?

Mids...meh, whatever. 1155dps with fury. 1099dps with faction missiles. 1066 with T1. All over 100km range and if you're shooting a station it'll actually DO that damage.

this one pulls out 1030 dps and i didnt even used rigs or imps or faction/T2 Ammo, and both turrets and drones got 100km + optimalrange

u could use rigs for targeting range or more dmg, whatever, to answer the first question,i dont think that there are many ships that can reach this stats, but its easily doable with a rattlesnake for example

You have 60 km drone control range. You can't get those bouncers to actually shoot something 100km away. Using rigs to fix that, You're 8.2% over CPU. You have to Navy the Mag Stabs AND have Drone Rigging 5 AND a 4% CPU implant and a 1% power implant with that fit.

You also have a 87.5 KM lock range, and no rigs left to fix that.

But bouncers do work better. With some adjustments, perfect skills (i can't stress that enough) and 1% cpu and power implants, you can apply 1050 dps at 100km.

what XD my fitting tool shows me that the drones (which are sentry drones) have more than 100km optimal range, i dont need any drone control modifications, only some targetingrange which is doable with rigs

That is their optimal firing range.

There is also drone control range. You can only tell a drone to attack a target up to a range of 20km + 5 per level of scout drone operation + 3 per level in electronic warfare drone interfacing. For a total of 60km with perfect skills.

To tell a drone to shoot something beyond that range, you need to fit drone control range rigs or drone link augmentors in the high slots.
