I wish to create a PVE-Specialized pilot based off the three ships stated above.

Feel free to post the most ridiculously pimped out implants so that I may get a good gauge of implant potential. I will adjust the implants according to my finances.

Here are my planned maxed Implant sets:

MACHARIEL - Shield XL-Booster Pulse Tanked

S1 to S6 - SNAKE HG (Velocity Increase) / CRYSTAL HG Set (Shield Boost) ---> Which is optimal?
S7 - Eifyr & Co. 'Gunslinger' Motion Prediction MR-706 (+6% Turret Tracking)
S8 - Inherent Implants 'Squire' Energy Management EM-806 (+6% Capacitor Capacity)
S9 - Inherent Implants 'Lancer' Gunnery RF-906 (+6% Turret Rate of Fire)
S10 - Eifyr & Co. 'Gunslinger' Large Projectile Turret LP-1006 (+6% Large Projectile Turret Damage)

NIGHTMARE

S1 to S6 - CRYSTAL HG / HALO HG Set (Reduced Signature Radius) ---> Which is optimal?
S7 - MR-706
S8 - EM-806
S9 - RF-906
S10 - Inherent Implants 'Lancer' Large Energy Turret LE-1006 (+6% Large Energy Turret Damage)

VINDICATOR

S1 to S6 - ???
S7 - MR-706
S8 - ???
S9 - RF-906
S10 - Zainou 'Deadeye' Large Hybrid Turret LH-1005 (+5% Large Hybrid Turret Damage) ---> Do +6% variants exist?

I appreciate feedback and criticisms... as long as they are constructive.

Thanks!

I can tell you is what I did, Hopefully you can take some of it and find what work for you.
For my Mach I went with the crystal set, and a three mid slot tank, Xl-booster, Boost amp, Invul, cover the EM hole in the rigs. I didn’t want the Snake set as I use a Gist-X MWD (0% cap penalty) and all I need is the occasional burst of speed so permanent speed buff seems extraneous. I use my Mach for Missions, Incursions, Epic Arcs, and the occasional Exploration (Usually Escalations) site clearing.

Your Implants look good only difference between yours and mine are the EG-806 I used an MP-806 (I hop into a Sliepnir a lot) so medium guns are a nice fit for me. And the ROF vs. SS.

[Statistics - Goldiiee]
Effective HP: 92,398 (Eve: 78,586)
Tank Ability: 1,302.41 DPS (2,024 Heated)
Shield Resists - EM: 67.66%, Ex: 76.76%, Ki: 72.11%, Th: 62.81%
Capacitor (Lasts 1m 24s)(3m 12s, without MWD)
Volley Damage: 4,606.25 (5,248.92 Heated)
DPS: 1,437.64 (1,641.22 Heated)

[Implants - crystal and guns]
Slot 1-6: Crystal Alpha- Omega
Slot 7: Eifyr and Co. 'Gunslinger' Motion Prediction MR-706
Slot 8: Eifyr and Co. 'Gunslinger' Medium Projectile Turret MP-806
Slot 9: Eifyr and Co. 'Gunslinger' Surgical Strike SS-906
Slot 10: Eifyr and Co. 'Gunslinger' Large Projectile Turret LP-1006

Might be getting the falloff Implant; Zainou 'Deadeye' Trajectory Analysis TA-706 to help compensate for the proposed TE-II Nerf.

Taking the cost of a 3% implant and subtracting it from those you listed, how long does it take to make up the difference in cost?

For me? It takes about 7 days of running Incursions for the LP to get the +6's and 1.25bil ISK and about 2 billion ISK for the crystals, I think? cant remember bought them to long ago to be exact.

So yeah one week of Incursion running to buy all of those, dont know how long it would take doing missions, but at 80mil an hour the math isn't that hard.

Your 1437 dps in the Mach is impressive. With 3% implants of the same type I get 980 dps. So I may have to start looking at those.

If your not already doing Incursions, I would suggest setting some time aside and get in on the fun. Not to mention the only LP store that sells +6% is concord (Could be wrong) so using the Incursion 'Concord' LP seems to be the easiest approch to getting them.

@Goldiiee

Thanks for your reply.

The upcoming nerfs to TE IIs might make the falloff implant more valuable; thanks for reminding me.

Out of curiosity, 1437DPS is achieved using Hail L? If Standard Barrage L is used, it falls to almost 1100DPS without suffering the heavy Hail penalties to range and falloff.

Any other opinions on the implants?

My 980 dps is based on using vanilla Fusion in the AC's. Haven't tried t2 or faction ammo due to cost.

Yeah I build and use Hail/Barrage the way most people use t1,

Figured I should add currently Hail cost is costing 425isk each to build. Barrage is similar at 425isk to build. T2 is about 200 ISK per round cheaper to build than faction ammo bought at the LP store with the T1 ammo trade figured in.

you can run a perma tanking mach with a xl sb. and still have some 1300 dps :)

This is probably one of the few cases where capacitor flux coils are acceptable.

On your Vindi: I would guess that 90% of the Vindi pilots will fit Slaves in 1 - 6

I could see where Snakes for the speed might be more 'universal' . Apply to more ships. But dedicated Vindi, I would go Hi-Grade Slaves.
And in slot 8, Zors Custom Hyperlink is my *default* choice.
There is also an energy managment implant there. Squire EM, 6% more cap.

On the Nightmare: It's a BS. Reduced sig radius means nothing to a BS pilot.

Thanks for the replies guys.

@RavenPaine

Slave Set is a must for armor-tanking.

How about Incursion Shield Fleets? I see Shield Vindicators pretty often.

What are your recommended implants for the NM?

Doing a comparison for Machariel implants using EFT:

SNAKE HG Set : 624m/s ---> 778m/s (Gist-X AB)

CRYSTAL HG Set: 1059hp/s ---> 1589hp/s (Pith-A XL Booster)

It sure seems that the SNAKE HG Set has greater utility against the CRYSTAL HG since I'll be pulsing the XL Booster.

Not much help in terms of implants, but not many Incursion fleets will be happy with you using a Booster for tank. TVP at the very least just asks for 100k EHP and 70% resists, then otherwise focus on damage, the logis and fleet boosts will do the rest. Coming in with boosters wouldn't get you an invite.

Set a man on fire and he's warm for the rest of his life!

For L4 I would say crystals are superior to anything else on a mach. If you are min / maxing your mach for incursion take A look at A set of Halo implants. A 300 sig radius Mach is nothing to scoff at when your trying to squeeze as much dps/tank out of it as you can.
