API key generation broken?

Everytime I try to make a new API key with this fancy new api website I click submit and it just loops me back to creating a new one.

No api shows up in the list and the log doesnt say anything.

Myself and my corp mates have been experiencing the same problems but only when creating from a linked mask.

If creating one from scratch then it seems to work fine.

Another thing to note is that the new webpage is doing other wonky things as well. I have noticed quite a few other posts about keys not working. I believe one of the root casues for this is that for some reason when you double click the verification code to highlight it and copy and paste it white space is getting apended to the string.

Now for your specific issue I would recommend trying a different browser.

Same here.

Cannot get 3rd party apps to authenticate...

Is anyone from CCP looking into this?

Some of our newer Alliance members have been having this problem as well.

Last I heard, API key generation works fine BUT using a predefined shortcut URL doesn't.

CCP broke the predefined when they overhauled the website.

So just go in an manually select the access you need.

Create a new API... leave it for 1 hour and then try and use it in 3rd party apps....

For me on several accounts api keys are not working..

If that is the case, bug report it.

You may also want to browse the EVE Technology Lab forum, as I'm sure they'd know about it.

This was the issue with mine. Thanks! I was ready to bang my head off a wall.
