He once explained this. His eve-search bots actually flag up every time his name is used on the forums or in one of the channels he monitors. Not kidding.

Yeah, I was wondering. He appears out of no where, dumps a comment and disappears again. Well, I guess it is better than him being paranoid.

Anyone notice the collapse in the price of trit?

EvE mining is in recession.

I'd be surprised - if ice prices hadn't bottomed out already.

Enjoy the mining buff. The gift that keeps on taking value away! Cool

Value = Demand / Supply

Really looks like my treatise on the pressures of miner depradation being beneficial to the health of mining as a profession was spot on now, doesn't it!?!

The truth is that miners are getting exactly what they wanted - easier access to minerals and therefore a lower barrier to success.

Less ISK in pocket is good for miners, I guess. Shocked

or it could have nothing to do with the mining buff, and everything to do with the fact that things have finally stopped ******* with mineral prices. like loot changes, and speculation, etc. not to mention this steady decline has been happening since roughly the cruiser rebalance since nobody was really interested in buying minerals to make battlecruisers because it wasn't worth it in comparison to frigs/cruisers and/or they had already massed sufficient supplies of minerals (see mynnna's screenshot)

Right. Nothing related to mining has anything to do with the mining buffs. Roll

Sure!
Instead of the simple and obvious,
let's pick something imaginary and complex.

yeah because removing a massive source of low ends had nothing to do with trit etc doubling, right?

And miners having negligible predators anymore has nothing to do with trit coming back down, right?

It probably had nothing to do with the immediate deflation of ice product prices across Eve, either, right?

I'm sorry, I thought you couldn't spell minerals without "miner".

Also, if you think ice is not a mineral, that's a special kind of stupid.

Finally, you didn't refute my argument, you changed the subject instead. Thanks for conceding my point.

Clearly it's off-topic in a thread about mineral prices to talk about the forces responsible for driving deflation.

i never explicitly stated that, at all.
in fact, i'm pretty sure i never even implied it.

i merely pointed out this is a thread about trit, and you were talking about ice.

Well, in fairness I did bring up ice, as it also is related to the mining buff and was the initial indicator of its inevitable effects.

There, see how the two are related? It's through the process of "mining."

Mining is a common tie between ice products and production minerals.

There, that's not so bad now, is it?
