30 day plex price a bit out of whack?!?

I've noticed this for quite some time now but 30 day plexes on the market are somewhat overpriced compared to 90 day GTC's which can be bought through the Timecode Bazaar!

Now why pay 500+ mill for only 30 days of game play when I can pay just shy of 1bill for 60 days?

Basic maths tells me that the 30 day plex should only be around 333 mill mark if compared to the 90 day GTC's!

Or Have I totally missed something on this one??

Thoughts?

Check the Timecode Bazaar again, there are no 90 day GTCs.

Well there used to be, I'm sure there's a few codes still around. 100days too.

No one wants to buy if you overprice it by 200M buddy, so posting in a stealth advertisement topic.
because no one yells out, hey look over there, its an opportunity, instead of taking advantage of it and staying quite.

6 months ago, the prices where actually lower, then became totally unreliable for ISK saving, it just wont go up because ^

The days when you were either incredibly lucky, incredibly good or someone's alt if you made your first million (liquid) inside five days? The days when the Billionaires were rich?

There are a few reasons why buying PLEX in game is usually more expensive than buying time codes.

First, taxes and brokerage fees in the game. Not everyone has perfect station standing or perfect skills so that affects the price for the 'average' seller. When you sell the time code you don't pay any taxes.

Second, PLEX have a built-in premium from PLEX resellers in the game. There are multiple people who only buy and resell PLEX and this inflates the price significantly. If the average price for PLEX is 550 million in game and someone goes for the quick sale of 525 with a couple of PLEX chances are the person who purchases the PLEX will be one of the resellers. They will then relist it for at least a 10% gain.

Add to that PLEX "investors" who believe (wrongly) that PLEX prices always go up so they keep buying them and keeping them and you get the inflated price of PLEX.

There is a direct link between PLEX and time codes with the price on time codes follownig PLEX prices more slowly.

So, if PLEX prices drop (which they have) then time code prices will drop as well but it takes a few days before code sellers adjust their prices downwards and code buyers realize it as well.

Usually a 60 day time code sells for ~10-15% less than two PLEXes. So, if two PLEXes would cost 1.1 billion than a 60 day time code would be 1 billion but this isn't a hard rule.

There are other reasons as well but those are the primary ones in my mind.

What was wrong with that? inflation is bad for everyone. The constant stream of wealth been pumped into the hands of the few (moon goo) is bad. An eve were wealth is scarce and resources thin and the best way to gain something is to take it from someone else is a fantastic thing. We are heading in the wrong direction right now if you ask me.

Lol you do realise moon goo isnt = free isk. People have to buy said moon goo which has been earnt through other players making money ratting, everything comes down to more people ratting for bounties and missions, More people playing the game = more isk incoming tot he economy. Eventually it all equals out due to more people having wealth spread about between themselfes

He's right though.Isk is made WAY too easy and WAY too fast these days.

'Working' for your **** these days is only the first few months where it used to be the first year at least .It has taken the edge away from this game in my humble opinion.

Probably the other big one is that a PLEX is far more flexible. They can be used for a number of things, from extending game time, to buying a fanfest HD stream etc. Timecodes purchased from the Timecode bazaar can only be used to extend your subscription.
