Okay well I am here with a question about getting the Queue in my Mobile Lab to clear, after removing all of the items from the Research queue.
This is the second time I have had this issue. First occuring about a month ago, and now. Both times I waited over a full 24hr time peroid to see fi there was some sort of rest timer or cool down timer. I placed the Lab off line to try and re-set it... did not work. I unanchored and packed it up, and put it back out... no luck again. After 48hr I sent in a petition. After about 4 or 5 days if memory serves correctly. The Lab reset itself, and then I got an anwser to the petition via out of game email.
I am having issues again with the smae task. I have done the smae thing. I waited well over 24hr, and no reset. Sent in a petition well after 48hr, and still no response from a GM, even now.
So if this is something that the GM's do not apparently follow or really care about. I am looking for som helpful insight from my fellow players. Now I do understand that not everyones problems can be looked at in the blink of an eye. However after almost 4 days, normal business days at that. Not over the weekend or anything. Four regular business days... that is rather lacking on a professional business format in my openion.
So, anyone have any ideas or information on what the deal is with the Lab queue?

Not totally clear on what you mean. Did you deliver the jobs, and they're still showing? Did you clear your cache?

Petitions can easily go 2 weeks or more before they get back to you.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

Hmm, okay I can see how that was not real clear. I canceled the jobs, removed them from the lab, took them to my local hanger. I have 'offlined' the lab, unanchored the lab, packed the lab up and put it in storage for approx 5 min. Placed ... anchored and put back online. The various research queues (Time and Material) are still showing the previous long term 'in use' timers, which are not counting dowm any more. I am aware that if a job is cancelled, only the blueprint will be returned. The materials will be lost, along with ISK if it were a public or rented slot. But it was Time and Material researching that was being done. There was nothing to be 'lost' I just can not start new research queues.

Well now...oddly enough. I got an in game message from another player that corrected the issue. Apparently you have to;

1 - offline the facility
2 - unanchor the facility
3 - Transport facility to a Station and repackage it
4 - reanchor the facility
5 - place online again

This will clear and reset the assembly line timers or queues.

I'd say that should do it. Smile

If you cancel a job your lines will still be occupied for the remainder of the job. Afaik this is 'normal' behavior. So just be careful with what job you run so you don't have to cancel.

Yes, this is also mentioned in a popup message as well (cant remember if its in the one where you put the job in or when its cancelled)

I've always been able to empty the occupied lab slot by unanchoring it.

Strange.
