Congrats. Still probably would not hurt to have a few more so you can't be shafted by disendorsements. (Wouldn't it be ironic - and evil - if a carebear corp you have had fun with in the past got all their members to endorse you then unendorse at the last minute)

DEAR MONK,
I couldn't find your public stances so I'm gonna poke you with questions.

First one :
What do you think about the instant-local/delayed local/no local opinions, especially on the matter of highsec wars ?

Bonus question :
Do you think that locator agents are balanced ?

Oops

At least according to Malcanis, this is not possible: Once you get the email, you're in. So congratulations to Monk and all the other candidates who got the mail. You're over the first hurdle.

I think that in highsec and wormholes local is exactly as it should be. Local or the lack of are integral to the sort of play that happens in those places. In highsec local is one of the defining aspects of the playstyle there. It has evolved the way it has largely because of the landscape of local and we enjoy the **** out of the playstyle here.

There's some reasonable-sounding arguements for removing local in nullsec. While I havn't discounted the idea, I'm not convinced. I feel like it will just add needless manhours watching gates to nullsec life. I think the solution to being able to hunt out there lay more in the direction of the farms and fields initiative. As always, though, I will note that I'm a highsec dude, so my opinion on that matter isn't as informed as that of the dudes who live there full time.

And yes, I do think locator agents are balanced. The delay is about right and the standing requirement opens business opportunities between hunting players and mission-running players. Interconnectedness between playstyles promotes health in the game.

Having someone in the CSM to represent the "dark side" of EvE is very useful. You will get one of my votes.

The darkside of EVE life is Russians getting ready to cut power to some guys house so his 250KM AOE DOOMSDAYING TITAN would disco during a fleet op. Any scrub can suicide gank, your platform is WE WANT CCP TO LIKE US GRIEFING THEIR ENTIRE PLAYERBASE AND ACCEPT US FOR WHO WE ARE (assholes!).

tl;dr I don't see you offering much of anything to anyone either you suck. You aren't #1 suck though thats progodlegend.

What is your opinion on Dust 514? Should it affect our gameplay to a larger or smaller degree? What changes would you like to see?

Psychotic Monk, what are your thoughts on the future for one man corps?
For me they're a way of doing business as I'm one of those people who leverage their faction standings by selling Corps with POS rights. I know many don't like this particular mechanic, I'm neither here nor there on it, I use it because I can.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

As much as I dislike the "greifing first" approach of Skunkworks' idealogy (especially during the Sansha incursion mom takedowns over a year ago), I like PM's platform and he raises some good points.

And no, he does not have my pod scrambled as I write this. Lol

My gut feeling is that DUST is going to flop. If that's the case I'd like to see the damage mitigated. I'm fine with them being able to effect us in reasonably large ways as long as we can also effect them in reasonably large ways. I think with the state the beta is in it's impossible to say yet how that'll shake out.

For a sandbox game there's w-a-y too much status quo candidates. This guy continues the tradition, despite the punk facade.

As a past Skunkworks member I stand by Monks campaing in saying that Skunkworks and Monk at their head knew how to make the game fun! even when game mechanics and ever risk adverse player base started a choke hold on our play style. And for anyone who thinks hes just a Troll, I can say we learned WAY more about the core mechanics of this game trough trying to break them than most people ever thought of, so He knows very well ways to tell CCP how to fix them.

Oh Psychotic Monk what are your thoughts on making piracy more like being a pirate, such as introducign ways of stealing ships cargo holds or even ships trough some sort of boarding or hacking modual? (of course would be hard to use, such as makign the target ship go under 50ms for like 120 seconds or more)

Additionally, and at a slight tangent, one of my favourite things in the whole world is watching a newbie who's gone through the trouble to acquire the knowledge, support system or correct situation slap around a player several times their senior who felt they were safe simply by virtue of their age, ship or money.

All my votes, mostly for that. New players in cheap ships who play the game should be able to spank players in expensive ships who don't.

I don't see any reason your business model should be made obsolete. I *do* want to see the end of one man corps, but not because it's mechanically impossible, but because it's incentivized. So trying to operate as a one man corp should be a bad idea and/or a waste of money, rather than literally impossible.

Gaz: Thanks for your support. I think a hijacking/theft mod would be neat, and off the top of my head I don't see any major problems with it, but I think we have some bigger fish to fry at the moment, what with sov, inactivity in null/low and wardecs being broken, as well as with ship rebalancing and the changes to armor tanking both being ongoing processes.

Well yeah I know my question was kinda silly and trivial, but I already know your stance on most other areas, and while I voted for you knowing low sec lvl piracy and greifing identity your knowledge base I would still like to hear your thoughts on ways to improve piracy or the -10 life style. Like high sec tankers and greifers we are kinda looked down on because we usualy instigated fights and kill 'inocent peeples' and we don't need anything fun because we are suposed to make our own fun, at being evil. While I agree just being an evil pirate is fun, I feel like it is less of a profession and more of a punishment for being a free spirit. Being -10 has some major draw backs and most pirates don't make a ton of isk. So I think there needs to be some more insentives for being a pirate, such as getting pirate faction LP for player kills like FW, and maybe other perks and disadvanages. This would also help make room for anti pirating being a actual profession, which could be a step up from a high sec bounty hunter.

Anyway just figured is like to hear your 2isk

Also your very welcome I would fly with you again anyday, and am hoping to see you on the CSM. Been watching your interviews and campaign and your doing a great job.

My questions are pretty much aligned to the poster above in which I am curious with your stance on Piracy with those of us with negative 10 status and content for low sec in general. We all know the current phrase of "low sec is dead" mainly due to nerfed content for PVE rewards as well as an exponentially greater amount of isk to be made in Null Sec.

Thus, the potential for true content is crippled because of a lack of player interest. Would you be open to bringing forward ideas to CCP about making content exclusive to low sec to try and bring people back into these systems? And what about Piracy as a starting profession? Or making newer players able to be in a Pirate NPC corp?

There is so much untapped potential to bring new and fresh ideas to a region that has long been the red headed step child of CCP. Regardless you have my vote and hope everyone whom is considered part of the "dark side" of the game's content are represented equally.
