Favorite tasty beverage for an Eve session?

I like coffee; pretty fine ground dark, hydrated at 170 degrees F or so for a few minutes then 3 or 4 pourings at 192 degrees F. This may be a bit over extracted for some people, but I enjoy that slight bitterness especially when paired with a very rich roast.

I don't care for paper filters, they seem to leave a papery taste. The mug must also be well heated, it is very hard to keep coffee at the correct serving temperature and the window for drinking it is really only about 10 minutes. I have thought about switching from my old "white glass" mugs to a higher quality bone china cup as I have noticed better heat retention in this type of porcelain.

My second favorite beverage is Tea. I like Tetley actually, and as ...well I guess we don't need to go into the specifics.

Yeah I know, I'm boring; I usually just drink water.
Occasionally a beer or some soda.

Usually tea, or energy drinks (Monster or Relentless usually).

Otherwise, just water.

I never drink beer in the house; but if I did, it would be Guinness.

So I make do with Corporation pop.

Gin and Tonic. Preferably Hendricks or Bombay Saffire.

Failing that red wine but despite my most pleasureable liking of Real Ales, having to take a **** for 2 hours while on a roam sucks big time.

I might also opt for a Tea. That is all.

sweet or hard? I'm not sure where your from Baltec, here in the states the default "cider" is sweet.

A friend of mine has a press, I often do 10 or 20 gallons in the fall and let it harden up over the winter. Its fun to drink it fizzy, but I generally have it still on ice. Man I made a patch a few years ago that didn't take much of to get properly twisted.
