This is the new thing that reminded me of how blown away I was when I fist saw this.

All this shirtlessness has me thinking about Carbon again... Big smile

Confirming this is a shirtless thread.

Except for me.

If I were to take off my shirt, my pasty white body and splendiferous abs would make you go blind AND die of excitement.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Confiming I am wearing nothing in real life.

[insert random rubbish that irritates you personally] is further evidence that Eve is dying/thriving*

I am wearing a shirt. Under that shirt, is another shirt. Under that shirt, I am wearing no shirt.

Silly peasants, you don't get to have a shirt.
Only your owners are allowed to have one.

I bet that in 3 years, you'll be able to play with those new technology avatars, whereas EVE's avatars are on their way to become outdated without ever being put to use. Somebody should award CCP a prize for this rare accomplishment...

I think everyone wants that version back. I mean what the **** happened to it? It looked done. Instead they scrapped it all for carbon What?

Sure. But the promise of what WIS could have been is pretty compelling. I'd love to have Gogela sitting in his bar when he's offline, ready to answer commonly asked questions or, in the case that there isn't a pre-programmed answer, to take the stage at Gogela's awesome pleasure hub and rare ship emporium, and preform this. Wouldn't that be awesome? Maybe someday...

The day they add that red dress to eve, without the requirement to pants, is the day that I consider Incarna not being a TERRIBLE TERRIBLE THING.

Carbon still holds promise, I think, and hope, CCP will go back and work on WiS one day, but this time I think they'll make sure it's actually got some content before they release it, Incarna was probably a painful and not to be repeated lesson in how to **** off your customers. I hope to see some feedback in the way of character options and the tech for station interiors come back from WoD, the clothing looks amazing from what I've seen, which tbh was probably the original intention.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

That's some great texture and animation work they've done, but that mouth is so bad. You can clearly see the edges of the polygons, and there aren't that many of them. Terrible. But if they can catch that up to the rest of the face, it would be pretty amazing.

I'd also love to see something done with avatar gameplay. Maybe as CCP figures that they've iterated enough on the game they're already shipping, they'll start laying the groundwork for a radical expansion. DX11, and the improvements to CARBON that come out of WoD development, should help immensely once they're ready to deploy.
