So. You have to remedy this perilous situation you are in. Bob is not happy. The standard appeasement is to fill a Sacred Rifter full of ammo, Quafe, and Exotic Dancers. You must then scan out your chain until you run into a PvP Wormhole corp. Apologize profusely for your wretched carebearing, and agree to fight anyone and everyone willing to meet you 100 clicks from the sun. You must also offer up your pod as a willing sacrifice.

Bob may be inclined to extend you leniency from His Wrath once this is done.

Also you must post your heroic loss mail in this thread.

Oh holy prophet, tho thy will is might and Bob is wise in his ways, alas I beseech thee to postpone thy lust for the sacrifice till the moon does wane in the first day Autumns grasp, for the wallet is empty as the corp was torpid for many moons, and wallets muchly shrunk. Though thy carebearing ways does offend thee, I have hope that the holy ghost of podding and burning will undo the aversion to 'getting stuck in'*.

*Or in other words I do need to get more PvP experience in.

What?

I shall put it thus:

Due to...shall we say...a rocky past, I deal with anxiety issues on a daily basis. Sometimes they can colour my thought processes, and other times they don't. Yes, W-space is a paranoid and anxiety inducing place to live, so seeming I've come across something I haven't seen in 2 years of living in worm holes, I came onto the forum seeking answers. Why live in W-space when the very nature of the unknown,? Because even with the anxiety that it sometimes spawn I've found a slice of Eve to call my own. Whilst null sec was probably more secure, I'd have to live under someone else's yolk.

No need to feel bad, you weren't to know the whys and wherefores of why I play the game like I do. I just thought it was best to be honest and give you a reason for why I'm more carebear than W-space buccaneer. I've PvPed a little, and enjoyed it a lot, but anxiety is always going to be there in the background, and a lot of the time it just makes it easier to want to chill out and do carebear stuff. I don't think a lot of people take it on board that carebears are carbears for a reason, and not generally out of choice.

Part of me sees the attraction of going at it in fleets and going pew-pew, but it's up against the part of me that epically fears cocking it up, getting others podded and generally feeling like a tight ball of squishy, tense "Eek"-ness. It just needs...desensitizing. A lot.

You need not experience.

Just bravery. And boldness!

Fear not the loss of thine ship or thine pod. For Bob Provides. It is the loss of thine Rifter and Thine Pod that appeases the Great and Mighty Bob.

Once this is done. Bob wilst provideth thou with the Sacred Indulgence of His Holy Sites filled with herds of Rarefied and Salubrious Sleepers.

This might count as the single most passive-aggressive political add I've seen.

"I'll demean you, but please still vote for the candidate I favour."

Your people skills may need a bit of brushing up on..

I know we're the same person and all, but do you really need to use my quotes? Blink
