I've done a little research and found nothing conclusive in recent posts about using RSDs on NPCs. There is little on NPC ships and their targeting range to try and calculate it for yourself. Some facts that you can find on NPC ships state that their Scan Resolution is no greater than those of normal PC ships. I've been told that Sleepers have a 200km+ targeting range..

Question being, does anyone know if it works?

As far as i know NPCs have an unlimited targeting range, as long as they're on the same grid with their targets. They do drop locks at some situations, but not due to their target being out of targeting range. I, personally, had multiple occassions of NPC targeting and keeping on firing on me from distances greater than 1000 km.

So, as far as i know, sensor dampeners are ineffective on npc ships (maybe sleepers or sanshas, bot not the older regular 'pirate' ones). All other forms of EW work. Capacitor warfare also does not work on regular npcs, not sure about sleepers/sanshas.

Ah, you seek meaning? Then listen to the music, not the song.
