I don't often start a thread, but when I do its because I have something important to say (or so I believeP).

C&P has been my home on the EVE forums because despite not being much of a scammer, or a pirate, or a spy, or a PVPer for that matter, I enjoy reading your stories and your adventures. I enjoy learning from you all. And I am not going to lie, I enjoy the tears.

Now that I've hit you in the feels, I have something to ask of you. Please endorse a CSM candidate.

I know this isn't Crime&Politics, but the CSM has the potential to help CCP shape EVE into a game we want to play another 10 years, so take a look at the candidates and endorse one to reach the next stage of the election process.

For those of you that are curious, I chose Corebloodbrothers. Here's a personal anecdote that sealed my decision to endorse him:

Core (a Provi FC) often runs 'Far Far Away' fleets that dive into WHs to assault other regions of space usually out of Provi reach. The first step, of course, is finding suitable WHs that go to an interesting region of space and that has enough mass to fit the entire fleet there and back again. I volunteered to help scan down some suitable WHs for one of these fleets (along with a few other pilots). While I was scanning, another pilot found a great WH to Goon space (fun times for sure).

Core recalled all the scanners and began moving the fleet into position to start the trip. I headed back to pick up my PvP ship but hit Time Dilation along the way and informed him that there would be a delay. He told the fleet on comms everyone would wait to give me time to get back (our fleet was 80+ strong). After another five minutes (a good chunk of that waiting in warp), I told him to go along without me because I would probably need another 15 minutes to get through TD and back to the fleet. He arranged for one of his corpmates who had all the BM to guide me through and catch up with the fleet.

I had a blast during that roam (though most of us eventually died horribly). There are plenty of great people in EVE, but not many like Core.

Regardless of whether you agree that Core is your candidate, please contribute to the future of EVE by endorsing a candidate.

This is mainly a reminder for people to endorse a candidate. Very little info about CSM 8 floating around right now...
