Long term goals to keep this game fun?

Im not seeing the big picture in Eve.
Like im not seeing all it has to offer being the noob that I am.
Im grinding level 2 sec missions for now but cant see the long term and could see myself getting bored like I did before.
Any suggestion or ideas on what people do in this game or how they evolve to doing more than just missions.

The long term end goal of eve, is to longer have to play eve anymore.

Involve yourself with people and expand your network just like you would in the real world. it will help you a lot in the long run, also join a fun alliance that is already well structured and can offer you multiple play styles.

1. Set yourself a goal. Pick something you think you'd enjoy working towards.
2. Work towards that goal so long as you're having fun doing it.
3. If you no longer enjoy working towards the goal, GOTO 1, ELSE GOTO 4
4. Achieve the goal, GOTO 1

Also remember that nobody quits EVE they just take breaks, Whenever I find myself no longer having fun doing a certain thing I choose to do something else that I haven't done yet then BAM! EVE is fun again, also helps if you pla

Im not asking you to tell me what to do more like what you do or what the average path of someones Eve game follows.

Step 1 pick your self a goal. Mine is to kill all ponies so.
Step 2 Have ponies introduced into the game.
Step 3 Kill all ponies.

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!

mygawd, i didnt even read OP's name, i was just looking at the portrait, then i saw your post, looked at OP.

I am now cleaning mountain dew off my 1200 dollar computer setup.

Your goals will be personal to you, but things like these come to mind:

-Get your first (PVP) kill
-Join a fleet, get in a fleet fight
-Kill a capital ship
-Get spacerich
-Build a collection of ships
-Become famous
-Pull off a big heist/scam
-Join a respected/famous corp
-Have a super
-Have a titan
-Break 1000 kills/2000 kills/10k kills etc etc.

Ive been in fleets with my buddies but how does one get into a fleet fight?
I know its stupid.Cry

Get rich enough to fly (and lose) fun (expensive) stuff in pvp and not give a ****.

Spend some time finding a decent 0.0 corp and give that a go. Many players end up settling in that environment long term.

Also, wormhole space is a hell of a lot of fun the first time around. It's also very easy to find a friendly WH corp looking for players, as WHs were designed for small group cooperation.

I reccomend deleting your toon. With a name like that, and the quality of the horde of threads you've made recently, 'being taken seriously' isn't in your future. Make a new character. I reccomend a pandaren warrior. You'll find all sorts of interesting like minded individuals.

Get Fleet of PVP ships you can loose.
Fly into Low sec/ Null.
Shot stuff you find. (watch for gate guns and sec drops in Low sec)
Sooner or later you will find another fleet (and you will most likely die)

Either that or join RVB ganked fleets on Saturday nights. (channel RVB Ganked for details.)
