The first 50 was a lot more boring than that, coz nobody was messing up, reps held, we set up the fight and it all kicked off. The last 40mins was the most action, because we had the tracking dreads their to anti-sniper, shame it didnt go quite as expected ^_^

the true derp was the loki accidentalling and going out of rep range, but glad the protus learned from his bro's mistake. As a triage pilot myself i love to watch (and look in fleet hanger to see what your carren around for refit) and learn from others. I couldnt pause and track a good time when you were hovering over the modules, Do you use meta cap mods? If you do, have you found that the meta reppers perform good enough to balance out their cost (yes im a poorbad). I have triage 5, training amarr carrier 5 atm, then gotta finish capital remote's to 5. i would imagine those skills being maxed are essential to get the biggest bang out of the meta mods.

Yeah, we did lose a few ships during that day to people losing track of rep range. Luckily we had 3 guardians on field that did a phenomenal job at keeping people alive when they were out of my range.

I personally keep my common carrier refit mods in my cargohold (hardeners, relays, ect) for quick swaps. I keep fleet refit mods in my fleet hanger so fleetmembers can swap mods out if needed. In my experience it is always better to be prepared in terms of the mods you bring with you (both for fleet and personal use). I always have my caps prepared with fuel/mods/drugs/ect in myhanger so I am ready at a moments notice. The more organized you are, the better.

For this fight, I was in my more expensive Triage archon (t2 rigs, meta capital mods, faction relays), but the fleet situation doesn't always warrant its use. The meta mods, along with maxed skills, can often make the crucial difference, as they did in this fight, but mainly because I had the option to refit. In situations where you are called in as a solo triage, it makes more sense to use your cheaper fit archon (risk vs reward). I would reccomend investing in multiple archons so you have the option to use the one that you need.

Thanks everyone for the positive feedback. I will hopefully be back soon with another vid for you all.

I think that's the most constructive feedback i've ever seen from Griz.. You've changed.

In all seriousness though, people can learn a lot about triaging from Hyde, I think I might poke him a little for information too ^^

I personally have 4 of each hardener, my "Kat" fit (drone damage amps, point, neuts, web, eccm, sebo), defensive pantheon, offensive pantheon, 15 smartbombs, 3 sets of warp core stabs for lowsek alley-ouping outa bad situations, drugs, my "recharge to jump cap in 23 seconds after jumping" setup, heavy cap boosters, and batteries. oh and a reactive armor hardener. My good friend Mr Tiberon is currently morphing my t1 triage module into a t2 version (im sentimental, that module has performed so well for me).
Do you use performance modifying implants that effect cap recharge, cap amount required to activate assistance modules? I assume 1-6 is slaves, or do you dedicate 1 and 4 for the genolution for the extra cap recharge and capacitor amount?

In eft i have a basic triage (non burst tank) setup, 2 navy ENAMS, 3 true sansha CPRs, 2 t2 CCC and 1 t1 CCC, with legion links active. with both genolution installed, all available slaves installed, 5% to remote repair cap use, 5% to total cap amount, and 5% to armor amount, a improved mindflood dropped with no side effects - you have 1578k ehp, +825.5 cap/second recharge, the capital coaxial projectors only cost 230.8 cap/second to run.

Or same setup, only changing to all slaves, you have 1869k ehp, and +771.6 cap/second recharge.

so you have a difference of 291k ehp against +53.9 cap/second recharge. My first thought would be more cap/second but the ehp difference is significant.

So my question after all that text is, in your experience cap vs ehp?
thank you so much for your response Mr Hyde.

For this specific fight, we had no pressure from neuts, so EHP was more important.

i guess, where we fell short in terms of actually being able to ever land any damage on the enemy fleet in their sniper t3s from our shiny armor battleships, we were definitely able to dictate the range of the engagement, at least in terms of "if you get close to our carrier, you're gone" which certainly helps discourage neuting

We had about 10 - 15 Scimis and Basis not 30+ Blink
And wehre are the 78 Kills ? Shocked

Check the Battlereport: http://dog-net.org/brdoc/?brid=17667 (This is for both engagements)

The Moros was out of Siege while we shoot him but he re-sieged, so he died.
Ah nice Fight by the way! - i have also Frapsed but your Video is better Lol

Try the one that's not altered by dog: http://cyn0.syn-dot.com/index.php/kill_related/16300/
Also, NOC had 5 Kills with blapdreads, equalling 78.

Seems we got on only one of our own losses, meaning 45 VEGA/EVOKE/Friends died that fight (Including the pods), but a few of them died numerous times (which isn't shown on kb)
I know we killed some of the tacklers 5 or 6 times each.

And yes, we know the issue with the moros, hence why it's highlighted ^^, he derped, u got a moros kill, all happy! :)

Was a great fight, big respect to evoke for helping you out though :P

P.S. looking @ my fraps footage, I count 15 Scimitars yes, and the rest are basilisks :P
