CCP - Fanfest 2013 HD stream question

Will the HD stream be selectively viewable for whenever I have free time to watch it, or will it only be "broadcast" once during the time of the event? I've virtually attended other conferences before where the videos were available for ~30 days after or so, and I'm just wondering if there'll be a similar "open period" to watch it if I am not available at the stream time. I guess another question would be if the Fanfest keynote will be put on YouTube, like last year's was, or will it only be the love simulcast? Thanks for this info! I'm so excited for FF2013!

Good question. I know Blizzcon is "watch as it happens" which was absolutely crap. Given that the stream broke down every year and you'd miss hours of the biggest events. Two consecutive years I was refunded the stream and never paid for it since.

There MUST be a 30 day replay option. Especially for those in different timezones... :/

Actually it was BlizzCon I was referring to in my post. The last BlizzCon I got streamed--admittedly several years ago--had the option to replay all the events, panels, etc. I just wanted to know if Fanfest is going to be done in a similar way, since I have school during the keynote hours, but I'd really like to watch the stream.

Any statement from CCP on this?

If they broadcast on twitch like last time, twitch keeps VOD's for about a month on their servers. Also i expect multiple youtube videos of the good parts will appear.

add to that the fact that CCP put the fanfest videos up on youtube. probably in a lower definition, but it puts them up there so you can watch them for a year if you want.

Oh ok great! I remember watching Fanfest 2012 on YouTube, since I hadn't started playing EVE until the summer. Thanks for the replies guys.

Twitch will put VODs up when they stop the stream (you have to stop streaming so twitch knows how long that segment will be). CCP will likely also put up recordings of everything that was streamed on Youtube as they have in the past. It's just there might be some delay between recording and uploading to youtube (think something in the realm of a week)

Also, I don't think this is posted in the right section. Just FYI.

I keep logging into Twitch but cannot for the life of me find the damn feed for Fanfest, anyone got a link to it please!!!

Any new on the replay of the stream? work messed me up with over time and i missed the steam, it was the main reason i bought the HD stream too was to listen to the symphony!! its still not up on twitch!

please CCP, tell me i dint waist my money!!!

Well, found the channel but, nothings happening and the schedule times they put up make little sense...
they show 2 different times but idk which is based on which TZ...
Surely the only thing going on the first day is more than the symphony orchestra playing eve songs?

Who would have thought searching EVE would not list the EVE channel from CCP,lol...

Well I think I figured out the times listed as being GMT and PST I think...
Anyhow i guess the only thing happening today was the Symphony after all.. What?
