Since apparently none of you read the first sentence in this thread, i'll say it again.

This thread is for everyone to get a general idea on how to fit your barges properly for defense.

The purpose of a mining ship is to make ISK. From that... risk vs reward comes into play. An effective business balances risk verses reward... you ignore the reward part. Ignoring reward for fear off risk is counter productive.... and truly not in the spirit of EvE.

Your are promoting the worse 'Carebear' attitude possible... fear of risk... risk and nothing but risk.
