Still considering applicants!

Sent out a few more evemails today, we are pretty fussy but that is because we value the time we spend with our corpmates and idiots aren't welcome.

PS : if you are good at Civ5, feel free to mention that in the application, I need better opponents.

PPS : ignore any comment from Atari about me never finishing a game, he just refuses to accept the inevitable!

This week in the life of Team Pizza

- whelped a pimp fleet jumping subcaps into starbridges home WH, our subcaps vs their full up fleet, which included 5 caps by the end of the fight, awesome fun
- ate up an Exhale fleet, doing the same thing to us at home, ~40v40, few more caps on our side, great fight and big props to Exhale for giving it a shot
- shot some red crosses, ~200m/hr for each pilot
- moved out our last members from J232336, our old home, and wow wasn't he glad to be done!
- took a bunch of Tier 3 BC's and blew up some freighters in lowsec cause, why not?
- accepted a new applicant! (YAY!)

Just an update on the past few days of TP life:

- Ran US TZ sites last night, 150m per pilot for about 40 minutes of work
- We are all sorted into our new home, divisions assigned and ships have mostly been brought in.
- Goons! We killed 47 of them (and 39 pods), they killed 4 of us. Goons taste like chicken! http://no-ho.com/killboard/?a=kill_related&kll_id=4968
-Please note updated main post as it has been changed to reflect the new realities of C6 living.

Bunnz decided to use his ridiculous European vacation policies and take a month off or something like that. So feel free to Evemail me or Ataal with any questions or pop in our pub "Team Pizza"

See you all in game!

Well, I'm personally back from my month off (damn ISPs in the Netherlands are impossible to deal with!) and its time for an update!

- deployed a new system for running sites at home, we now finish full capital escalations within a seige cycle, even LESS time shooting red crosses and more time shooting other players!
- involved in the largest ever WH battle, reports all over the web, where we lost a 100b isk fleet
- in said fight, we engaged in full knowledge we'd likely get slaughtered but its far preferable to take a pod express to kspace in that situation than a week+ of bat phoning friends and reinforcing towers
- invaded a bunch of farmers who didn't put up a fight, testing fleet comps for work in pulsar (shield) systems
- couple of new recruits arriving
- couple of corp "bitter vets" back on deck
- activity is picking back up again, in corp and in alliance

Internally, we've made a few changes. We target a less than 1 week response to an app submitted on our web application in an attempt to make things easier for everyone.

As always, you can find us in "Team Pizza" public channel and everyone is happy to have a chat, just speak up when you arrive so someone notices activity as we are all usually busy doing stuff and mightn't notice lurkers!

Soz, yo!

The week, Pizza-style!

- new site running system is awesome, 2nd siege/triage cycles to fully escalate a sleeper site are a thing of the past
- bunch of engagements, some great, some ludicrous
- fairly even fight against Exhale, (Note: Exhale pilots appear on both sides due to smart bombs) swung our way when we went balls-deep and collapsed our route home with a dread
- even fight against null-bears because they stink so hard that 18v50 is considered even (I believe they even told their people they won, because they killed more isk than we did, never mind the 10 lost vs 40 killed all while outnumbered 3 to 1!)
- plenty of other skirmishes around the w-space chains
- a few new recruits moved into our system getting their feet wet

Streamlined application process is working great, turn around is usually a few days to max 1 week to get your answer. The more thought and consideration you give to the application form the better your chances of getting into the Pizza family.

Other happenings:
- Pizza fanfest plans are taking shape, looking like 6+ members are already confirmed to be making the trip
- CIV5 patch has confused the hell out of me, need to relearn some basics
- Additional "bitter vets" return from the cold (other games) to embrace the pizza, eve-style

The week, pizza-style.

- T1 Armor doctrine roam, busted up by a massive blob, but not before we managed a few kills
- A fairly lopsided ~30v20 against The Darkspace Initiative, always fun to brawl with these guys!
- Mauled a bunch of f.con cruisers in nullsec, 11v11
- Bedding in a few new recruits
- 2 nights of fruitless chain collapsing looking for fights, it seems people aren't playing eve on their holidays
- Ganked (massive blob-fest from us, but everyone wanted on on killmails) an Eve Uni WH Fleet running sites, sorry guys, the lesson is "scouts are good, m'kay?"

We are still looking for recruits. The US timezone within the alliance is getting stronger but still falls a bit short of the EU presence, so we need to beef it up.

Just a quick reminder of what we want from applicants:

- tolerance for risk
- pvp focused
- appropriately skilled (this varies, pilot to pilot)
- wh experience preferrred, but we are happy to teach you wh mechanics if you bring other attributes to the table
- armor fleet doctrines mainly
- armor T3 ships
- capital skills are a bonus
- alts are a bonus (living in WH's with multiple accounts is much much easier!)

All applicants that are successful are put on a 1 month probation period. We have a reputation as a very active corp and if you get past the screening process, you'll get a month to impress us with activity and whether you fit with our culture.

The week, pizza style!

- Christmas/New Year holiday, activity was moderate considering!
- Ganked some goon Typhoons
- Whelped a few pizza guys 3v28 in providence (we were bored!)
- Ganked some Honey Badger/Test ratters
- Mad props to Quebec United Legions for bringing the fight to our home system, leading to a juicy Archon kill for us
- Bumped into an Orca trying to collapse our entrance after we poked a roam out nullsec, quickly burnt the fleet back for a killmail and to teach the pilot that trying to lock us out in nullsec is bad karma
- Some Why So Serious pilots got in the way of a roaming gang, with predictable results
- Evicted a Hydra farming corp from a C6 Magnetar system, well played to them, they saved most of their assets alas

US TZ recruits still required to join our corp of awesomeness. EU TZ recruits considered, but maybe another corp in the alliance would be a better fit.

This week, pizza-style:

(Honestly, I dont remember much of this week after the night before last, so I'll just comment on that!)

Night before last, we gank a bunch of The Last Chancers miners who weren't paying enough attention, they then try to scare us away/collapse their wh with carriers. This leads to a 2.5 hour battle against a bunch of The Last Chancers, with our fleet of roughly equal their numbers pinning and holding 7 carriers in place while we tried to rustle up reinforcements. 1.5 hours of nothing was had, while our fleet held the carriers in place, completely unable to break anything under the pantheon of 7 carriers. We have gone balls deep, followed them back home and collapsed our route, alas the WH collapsed before our ready to go dread could enter. Eventually, we got a single dread into system through a new chain, blapped a few subcaps that remained and waited for even more reinforcements.

Batphoning by both parties (us buzzing Aharm, TLC buzzing Verge of Collapse), rage rolling statics from both our home system and AHARM's home system, only for the VoC guys to win the race and drop 50+ subcaps onto the field. We saw em coming, scattered the fleet, got most bodies out and left our poor dread (piloted by an alt of mine!) to die a glorious death to VoC fire.

There but for the grace of god etc etc. Great work from the alliance team holding the carriers in place for 2.5h, sad we didn't quite get our support through in time. Good work to VoC, no hard feelings about the blob, you had no idea when you set off how many you'd end up facing. The Last Chancers? Gloating in local wasn't cool. You got lucky. Till next time. :)

- ran some sites, ~120m/hr for our intrepid, bloodthirsty band of pilots to spend on NEW TOYS to explode things with
- talked to a few potential candidates
- lost a small roam to 3x our number due to some FC stuff ups (yes, that would be me, again, leading lambs to the slaughter)
- got invited to an Aharm party to assist in bringing some DPS against a site running fleet that got ganked

We need bodies in the US TZ still and would potentially consider additional EU members if they have good skills to bring to the table. As always, hit up Team Pizza chat channel in game to get in touch with us and give a wave when you arrive. We wont notice you unless you do, as we are probably off trying to explode something. ;)

The last 2 weeks, pizza-style!

- testing the limits of the "ships with no vector" eve "feature", by bombing Exhale on a WH to glorious, fiery death!
- bumped into another corp using Pantheon carriers, but on this occassion they only bought 4, which was not enough, so we blew them up
- temporarily teamed up with Exhale to go poke at goonspace capital system, as we had a connection and, well, kill goons?
- wiped a t1 cruiser fleet against providence residences (I missed this fight, no idea why 14 of us couldn't kill 26 of them, even in t1 cruisers!)
- the first of many engagements this month against Rebel Alliance of New Eden, was a perfectly executed gank of a group of faction fit Mackinaw's
- Why So Serious catches a few of us with a 20 man titan bridged fleet, chaos was present as the fleet got carelessly split by poor piloting from the logistics team
- wrong time, wrong place for a poor w-space freighter pilot, but seriously, who flies empty freighters around wh space?
- some simple lowsec fun, except poor draegis forgot about gate guns and had his brand new 570m isk Daredevil summarily executed
- some neighbors who thought they were safe running sites in BS+Logistics, if they just mass crit'd the connection first, our gank ruined by some poor scouting by me, as I got decloaked before our sabre landed and most got away. Still, bombers for the win and while it looks like a gank, there were 4x logistics, 8x battleships and a couple of support ships there of the enemy until I stuffed up! I'm sure next time they'll bother to CLOSE the connection entirely!
- Hydra strike back, in J151325. After more than a month, the alliance "black sheep" who have been camping Hydra caps into the system we recently evicted them from get lazy and predictable, with equally predictable results. Pizza aren't directly involved, but come with the support fleet to save the alliance tower after Hydra reinforce it

Its been a busy couple of weeks and on the recruitment front we've been fairly quiet. We have 12 slots for probationary members, all of which have been filled. Some of those slots are now coming free as people are accepted or rejected as full pizza members, and as always we are interested in hearing from people who think they'd fit in to our style of play.

Just to recap what we look for!

- tolerance for risk
- pvp focused
- appropriately skilled (this varies, pilot to pilot)
- wh experience preferrred, but we are happy to teach you wh mechanics if you bring other attributes to the table
- armor fleet doctrines mainly
- armor T3 ships
- capital skills are a bonus
- alts are a bonus (living in WH's with multiple accounts is much much easier!)
- Full API's obviously, cause whspace paranoia is alive and well

(PS: Playing Civ5 wont hurt either, we tend to play it quite a bit during eve idle-time!)

So we are still looking for people to bolster the ranks here in Team Pizza. Looking for people who want to fight, like to go find fights, and watch things explode even if its their own ship.

Also last few days have given us a couple interesting engagements. On Saturday this happened http://no-ho.com/killboard/?a=kill_related&kll_id=9205, and on Monday this happened http://no-ho.com/killboard/?a=kill_related&kll_id=9306.

Feel free to stop by our public channel " Team Pizza" for a chat if your interested in joining.

Pizza! Can't say enough about them. Awesome laid back folks.

Plenty of isk to be made, and plenty of times to lose isk as well.

We are still looking for USTZ recruits to bolster our ranks and to have fun with in WH space.

If you're looking for a great group of people, make some good isk and PEW PEW, Then this is the place you want to be!

Long time since an update to this thread from me. Lets do some summaries eh?

Jushin Dragon was appointed our recruitment director and was working with Rozzyman, Spujo and Lord Azori on getting bodies on board. Unfortunately, as often happens, RL reared up and smacked Jushin in the head with a 2x4 so he's moved on. Rozzyman, Spujo and Lord Azori are still around, beavering away.

The opening post is still fairly accurate.

- US TZ
- Fly 1 armor T3 cruiser at least
- Activity, Activity, Activity
- FC experience in small gang or WH operations a bonus
- Armor logi V a bonus
- TS, obviously

We still live in Polaris, J150020, a c6 Magnetar system with a c6 static, along with the 3 other corps that make up No Holes Barred. Best for finding fights with the big boys. We have a reasonable rep about bringing the fight, but whbros sometimes complain we bring too many logi. As if!

We are a bit light on bodies right now, alliance mates fill out our fleets quite well but we want 5-10 new pizza recruits ASAP to build up our US TZ corporate presence before Odessy patch day lands. If you are a smaller wormhole corp looking to step up and fly with some of the best pilots around, get in touch, we'd consider a "group" application.

Our focus is exclusively PVP. Yes, we run sites, yes we make isk, but we only do both to enable our pilots to fly ships in pew pew fleets.

Now onto what we have been up too!

March 2013 - 593 Ships killed (188.23B ISK) 276 Ships lost (83.41B ISK)
April 2013 - 500 Ships killed (115.47B ISK) 182 Ships lost (31.68B ISK)
May 2013 so far - 175 Ships killed (34.98B ISK) 82 Ships lost (20.86B ISK)

We are active, we hunt, we rage roll, we engage targets pretty much daily, from 1-2 man null roams right up to full-up WH armor t3 fleets of 30+ pilots.

Some highlights from recent fights:

13/April - Poor site runners, The Red Circle find themselves the wrong side of our subcap fleet, with Captain Danr, the hero sabre pilot with initial tackle/bubble.

14/April - Amazingly unusual fight against Polarized. in their home system, our subcap fleet with Bhaal support versus an equal number of subcaps with 2 Archon, 2 Moros from them. The best thing about this fight was BOTH sides logistics chains broke at the exact same time. Our guardians started dying at the same time their first archon went down and the second capped out. Mark this up as a "loss" on the killboards, but this was a bloody amazing fight.

11/May - A wipe from us, as Blood Union escalate the fight better than we do, ending up with 25 vs our 16, with 1 archon for us and 3 dreads for them.

13/May - We bust Aharm gassing in their static, gank a couple of ventures racing for home and a hawk playing guard then after a quick chat, we let the rest of the ventures go home to reship so we can have a proper fight. An Aharm wipe ensues, but mad props to them for bringing the fight and getting most of their DPS ships out before we could smack them down. Killboard doesn't reflect actual numbers due to no losses for us, as their ~10 subcap DPS ships don't appear on kills or losses.

So, interested yet? Looking for that small gang experience? Sick of supercap blobs? Talk to any Team Pizza recruiter if you are keen. You can find us lurking around in "Team Pizza", our public/recruitment channel in game. You can also hit up any of our alliance mates in "No Players Barred", the alliance public/recruitment channel.
