Docking in Null and Staying Alive

Warpping into an NPC station in null and attempting to dock. Docking request made, but not yet given permition to dock. Can I be targeted/webbed/killed before docking? If I take no offensive acitons? It appears that at time the docking procedure can be a bit laggy. Perhaps that's just me and my nervous parinoia. Let's assume that no bubbles are involved.

Thanks in advance to all you killers who repond.

Yes.

When you warp to station and dock, you land outside of the docking radius and have to slowboat in that 1000m. During that time you are fair game to shoot.

If you happen to use that station alot, and you know it has a huge docking range, make an instant dock Bookmark at 0m to station and warp to that. you can then dock immeadiately after landing.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Yes. I always try to beat a fleeing ship to the station. If he's in low struc, it can work out.

Depends on your ship really...

Simple answer is yes.

One of the ways to avoid this, is after first visiting the station, bookmark as soon as you undock. I mean, when you undock, stop your ship, and save a bookmark. (assuming no one is shooting at you)

Then when you come back, warp to that bookmark at zero, and you'll be inside docking range.

If you hit dscan in the direction of the station before you warp, assuming you're in range, you'll know if anyone is sitting on the station...

Also, make sure your overview has mobile warp distuptor selected, so you can avoid landing on a drag bubble...

No he means if he xits with in dock range waits to be boxed and all, then clicks dock can he be shot while sitting there waiting for permission?
I have found that I can move for ~3 seconds after receiving the first box but before being in station.
And I am pretty sure I have been shot during that time, though never killed.
