Quick note for feed consumers. Our old feeds used the RSS 1.0 specification.

The new feeds use the Atom specification.

All leading feed readers will seamlessly consume Atom format feeds but if anyone is having parsing problems with custom readers, etc, this could be the reason.

Thanks,
DZ

You get a 404 Error if you click the "Dev Blogs" Link at the top of the Forums.

But the new site looks great.

Since CCP has imposed UAT on its live "community site" users, would you be so kind as to break down what features were changed (and the new, expected behaviors) so that we can properly test?

Responsive layout that adapts to browser size.

Could you please, please make this work on the forums too. On a 1920 pixel wide screen the forums take about two thirds of that and that's just bad.

DANG! I love the new look. I always thought, space was a darker place.

It is better for me when I play EVE Online on one monitor and the site on the other screen.while the light are out in my room.

It looks great on my iPhone and iPad as well.

Thx.

Houm... how do you do that? Question

Opera, my dear. User mode + Emulate text browser is a quck and dirty fix. But I have a custom CSS with tines more inline with standard windows theme.

I don't see these feeds. Learn to use alt linking.

Also, they doesn't looklike feedsto me. Especially, not Atom, since you stated in the content-type, that feeds are in RSS format, not in Atom format.
Guys, seriously, when would you start using existing standards rather than inventing new ones? Life will be easier for you, when you know, what you're doing, trust me.

Visual theme is nice, but christ on a bike, how big do you want your margins to be for pages like the patch notes or dev blogs? ~10% of the page either side?

They're far too big and only result in making you scroll more when you're actually reading the content. It's the same issue on the forums.

Please, someone halve the size of the margins.

The margins are more like 20% per side on a 1920x1080 screen, which is especially ******** since the pretty background is fixed and most of the margins are just black clearly showing how much of the screen is wasted. Clearly the layout changing has a maximum width that must have been set when the game launched and never updated (psss CCP, screen are a little more than 600 pixels wide now.) Also I hope the layout changing comes to the forums so I can read them on my phone since that's pretty much the only part of the site I ever visit on my phone. And if it does I REALLY hope it doesn't still waste nearly half of my screen showing me black bars.

Since this is a web issue ....

Clicking 'endorse' on the CSM page ( https://community.eveonline.com/community/csm/candidates/ ) doesn't do anything. Not sure if it's a bug, or a silly oversight, but would be nice to know that clicking on the button actually does something. Seems like the javascript link is broken.

Confirming I have the same issue. Also why no dev blog or advertisements of the CSM process? It will be more successful if you actually promote it.

wasn't working this morning, and it's slower than the old site.

why fix something that isn't broken? surely you could have put the people who did this to better use where they couldn't cause trouble?

Guy on irc mentioned that when clicking on Submit on the https://community.eveonline.com/support/api-key/CreatePredefined?accessMask=25165832 page (with valid name) results in the page being reloaded without the values being stored.

In other words, the key isn't being made.

I should also mention that the legacy link still isn't working either.

BUG..

http://community.eveonline.com/backstory/

..Doesn't reflow right when the width reduces much past 770px. The links for Races, Organizations, Chronicles, Short Stories, Scientific Articles, Item Database realign vertically, but the background images repeat horizontally across the page instead of rescaling or whatever it is supposed to do.
