My sec status is at -1 and I'll probably be locked out of high sec soon.

1) How do you organise low sec logistics? I'm thinking of buying about 1b worth of ships and modules and hire Black Frog to dump them at my base of operations in low sec. Is this how most pirates operate?

2) How to earn ISK outside of pirating / PVP? I'm guessing ratting is the way to go since it allows you to look for targets in belts at the same time and brings your sec status up in case you ever need go back to high sec? I don't like to use alts for ISK as I want to focus on my main.

I'd get a blokade runner alt.

What culo duro said. But nowadays using the FROGS is a viable option too. I use myself RED FROG regulary.

For making ISK i think anomalies will do the trick (are they called like that? those beacons you can find using your built-in-scanner).

Most people use hauler alts for logistics, but if you get yourself in an established low-sec corp there's a good chance they have a logistics chain setup for you. That said, black frog is definately a viable option if you're going it alone.

As far as ISK generation goes alts also come in handy for this, but if you are planning on only using one character, then low-sec exploration can be quite profitable and will easily fund your PVP activities. Just don't get caught with your pants down while doing it Pirate

The probing skills needed for exploration are also the same probing skills needed to hunt down mission runners and other explorers.

In an hour or two you can train a bestower alt and use him to haul your goods. Just be careful of how much you are hauling and check the system with your main before you jump in all your new ships.

Create a trade alt, and station trade in Jita 4-4. It costs roughly 1 month of time + 1 plex to fund your initial investment. With 550~ mill, you could easily plex both accounts your first month. Station trading takes less work than people think. If you trade bigger items ie: Ships, you will only have to babysit your orders about 30mins~ a day while still keeping a profit. Of course you won't make as much as you normally would babysitting your orders constantly, but you should still be able to plex both of your accounts.

With that said, after you have perfect trade skills on your alt account, you can train up to caps, and have a carrier/dread alt, while still funding yourself through trading.

Those are my two cents Big smile
