..Isk/day really is only a matter of Isk/wallet.

I get really happy when I can make 10% on my investment. I usually settle for 3-5%.

Info from my bond #7 of pure station trading starting with 20b in personal and public funds and was audited by VV in the same bond thread:
• week one net profit of 10.7 Billion (972m/day over first 11 days)
• week two net profit of 18.3 Billion (2.6b/day)
• week three net profit of 15.0 Billion (2.1b/day)
• week four net profit of 17.2 Billion (2.4b/day)

Info from bond #8 of station trading and manufacturing starting with 50b:
• week one net profit of 26 billion (3.4 billion per day)
• week two net profit of 28 billion (4.0 billion per day)
• week three net profit of 35 billion (5.0 billion per day)
• week four net profit of 27 billion (3.8 billion per day)

I tried to keep times down to about 3-4 hours spread out across the day at the keyboard and these numbers reflect years of experience at station trading, manipulation and manufacturing; fine tuning and creating the most efficient system possible. The manufacturing arm was fine tuned in collaboration with RAW23 and Varo in previous ventures.

The economic side of the game has always held the most fun for me and still does to this day. Alongside the friends I've made, they are what draw me back time and time again.

The manufacturing business with RAW23 and Varo brought in about 3.5b per day between the three of us starting with about 50b in assets IIRC. Time spent at the keyboard was considerably lower than running solo.

EXCEPT when he decided to say he was the first person in WoW to max out gold.

My first experiences with trade on the market where reproc orders.I started in sinq with a 4 jump range with one char and within 2 monhths i was using 4 characters and ''owning'' citadel/lonetrek/sinq and for some part the forge with my reproc orders.Growing from around 2/3 B in the wallet to 40 B in a period of 3 months i decided to take on one more region and that would be domain.

Ow how i dreamed of domain being the final but biggest jackpot amongst my reproc orders.I set sail to domain and kicked off with approx 150 buy orders .The day after i logged on and noticed i only got about 100m in stuff filled and all my other orders got way outbid.

So i said to myself ''Ok this guy thinks he's a hotshot but hahahaa i have FORTY B and 5 characters ... i will own him.'' .I closed the margins to allmost none profit and went on my usuall business on updating the other regions.Logged back in on my domain toon a few hours later and had to open my reproctool because this ''chap'' was going for totally profitkill now.

I left domain within a week thinking 'This guy must have like 100 B or something my god'' and now i see thee truth he ain't got 100 B he got 3000 B and 6 times more chars then i had.

Hi Flakey. I probably only had about 800b around that time. During my trading career I made a lot of isk from almost every market in eve not just npc melts. General contracts officer stuff etc I really stayed away from ( hated them) and I was also light in the implants area. The rest was fair game. T3 was a definite favorite for a while. 10b profit a day in the early days was not abnormal. As soon as I saw the profits I decided to buy 5 characters with building skills capable of building T3 hulls (cost an average 10b a character) and was quickly building and selling up to 30 hulls a day. Unlike any other item I have ever found on contracts t3 was great. Due to high profit when a non wormhole producer appeared it was worth playing the 0.01 game and completely cancel the contract taking the large setup cost as a loss and just re-list cheaper . Wormhole producers outside Jita were small scale and generally just one off sales so you let them sell.

I made about 1T from Technetium. I managed to spend a few weeks buying as much as I could at 1k a unit up until it reached the 2k isk a unit value.... It would have been better but a certain nemesis, yep 'Akita T'... published his findings on Technetium on the forums. :( I ended up with a few million of each microprocessor and good stocks on other tech product lines. I picked up the total 6 million units of platinum tech and never no extra was listed after I grabbed it. I still have a couple of million units as It is hard to sell and move that amount of platinum tech. That investment of materials was my start in building T2 and invention.

For those that don't know, as a trader it is almost always better to sell your product as an end item rather than a raw item. It has less total effect on the market and the high end finished product tend to have less traders so are generally less aggressive the more complex the item is. You can move modest stock without updating orders in many markets. The 18 month-2 year wait for tech to go up was agonizing... I sold too much stuff before I probaby should have but I wanted isk for other markets plus new ventures besides I was too heavily involved in technetium.
I made a tonne off PI materials at this time. Robotics were great for me. I purchased 4mil of them and 2 to 20 million of almost every other P2? item before PI came out. I ofc am stuck with a tonne of some of the odd ones but I expected that when I purchased many of them. They were cheap and worth the risk. PI would have been even better but Akita T once again made PI public and it caused a lot of people to get onboard making it a much risky business. I ended up using this to my advantage spending a few months after PI came out to sell a nice chunk of techn and used 100b+ to buy robotics and push their price up. Then i would sell off the robots at the higher value as quickly as I could making a nice profit. Near the end of the sell off I would start placing lots of sell orders on robotics and force the price down even more while reinvesting back into tech by buying 1-2 million units of tech. Either at a lower price or I would wait until stock in tech was low enough to buy a price range out and reset the price a bit higher. I got caught out a few times and had to find enough extra isk to buy extra tech that was dropped on the market to keep prices down for traders tring to get cheap stocks. It only happened a few times as they didn't like me buying their blocking sell orders that they left above others and never updated... Timing the drop in robotics I would repeat the process again and again buying up other robotic orders and removing about 100 or so of my orders totaling a few million units. All that stock disappearing at once tends to keep the price up for a while. Which I would use to sell into the market. Both tech and robotics had close enough isk volumes to make it work really well. Players in the market were unable to do much in robotics. The key was that both had to go up, both had fantastic isk volumes. Robotics lacked other traders with the volume, knowledge or isk to do anything about it. Being a high order item with so many PI sellers it was easily to hide. I would never have put stock up on tech like I did with robotics as I would have lost it too. With robotics new orders would appear every 5-10 minutes making your sell orders much safer. I crashed robotic a few times from 55000isk to 30000k a unit and brought back the few million units I had sold at around 55k. When you remove 100 players orders it took a while to get competition and 0.01 games. It was a great way to increase stock in both items and get other players out of the market that had a few hundred k units of old NPC goods purchased before PI came out. Opportunities like that don't come around often. :) It was a gold mine for increasing those assets.

Also have so many completely useless items... If you ever want 12 million units of synthetic oil.. and I'm around then I'm your man. lol

Just made a 24.2M net profit in two minutes. If I extrapolate, that means a 17.4b profit a day. Amirite?

I just grab common stuff in jita and haul to 5 other locations mate ... I'm as much of a market wizz as the next guy

Yes VV it was good times. Even though a lot old players have gone I am still amazed at just how many oldies are still here. It was the golden time of MD for sure.
