Why me?

First Lorenzho, then Miura, now this?

He's really not all that horrid when he isn't sleeping with your partner.

I extend to you a three step process that may help with situations such as these:

Step One:
- Consider it a compliment that so many find you attractive, even so much so that they would make public declarations about it

Step Two:
- Forcefully suppress any and all violent urges resulting from declarations such as this, instead smile and repeat step one

Step Three:
- Politely inform the one making the declaration that you are flattered but uninterested, unless of course you are interested at which point you skip this step and go to step three (b)

Step Three (b):
- Politely inform the one making the declaration that you are flattered, if a bit embarrassed and arrange details for the date

Like so many of your fellow capsuleers in this difficult and trying time, your demands for action will see no meaningful result.

Ava is spoken for. Find someone else to harass.

I'm no expert on women, but I'm pretty sure this isn't how courtship works.

At first.I was excited, because it seemed someone got the joke. But then I read that second part and was let down.

Expect a visit from a petite red haired woman carrying a large, ugly Fed Navy blaster pistol. Soon.

Somehow, I think that the IGS may not be the proper forum for asking a Seida of the Minmatar out on a date.

Oh for...

It was a -joke-, crafted while drilling away a few asteroids. Who reads that and thinks it's serious? I wrote it as ridiculously as I possibly could. It could have easily been "A call to separate colors from whites in the wash" or "A call for Quafe Free to have the same great Quafe taste with none of the calories"

At least Ava had a sense of humor about it. Maybe it was just too soon...

EDIT - I'll still take that petite red-head though, if it's still end route.

Tsk tsk.. men always say it is a joke after they've been turned down. What is it the kids say..? "True Story".

*winks*

As one who has been in mining fleets, I have heard far, far creepier.

"I say that even as the holy and the righteous cannot rise beyond the highest which is in each one of you - so the wicked and the weak cannot fall lower than the lowest which is in you also.  And as a single leaf turns not yellow but with the silent knowledge of the whole tree, so the wrong-doer cannot do wrong without the hidden will of you all."

To be fair, this thread was a refreshing change from all the outrageous claims and rabid comments that have sprung up in the past few days. Further, it isn't as if Ava couldn't "turn him down" to the tune of a few thousand rounds of projectile ammunition if this wasn't a joke.

Wait... you're in my Corp now?

Don't tell me that Saede...

Never mind, I don't want to know.

Mr. Tiber created this thread in response to all of the "Call for X" topics that have sprung up here as of late, as an attempt to lighten the mood in a time when we can all use a bit of mood lightening.

In other words

Asking Ava out R serious bizneez, not something to make light of. Why think if all the men that asked you out said "oh it was just a joke", how would we then judge whom had been serious or worthy of Gradients Ava hmm?

Tiber, if you want to come out, have the courage and pride to do so alone.
While I am sure there are many women out there who will be disappointed to hear it, Ava has a man-friend at the moment so it is doubtful she can join you.

Be confident in who you are.
