A question came up today in fleet about Role Playing and Eve Online. None of us could figure it out so it was suggested that we bring it up on the forums.

The question is,

During TiDi do you talk slow?

Well since time (in theory) should appear to flow normally for those who are trapped in the time dialation RP'rs should be able to talk at a normal speed.

I don't think it would make a difference. Audio transmission of the variety that these ships would use would be processed in the frame of reference of the time dilation, and it's only the signal in transit that would be passing outside the reference. Depending on how you look at it, it would either be received on the other end just fine, or scrambled to the point the signal's indecipherable. I'm fairly certain it wouldn't be s....l....o....w, however.
