those scams don't specifically target newbies, most of the victims are not newbies, newbies have nothing worth taking and most people in eve somehow manage not to get scammed

Not entirely true, there are certain missions/complexes that have a more than regular appetite for drones. the Serpentis PHI one for instance. Every time you launch drones they go for them within 30 seconds. So you only have the time to launch, get 3 volleys in and recall. (and even then you might lose one).

Basically my domi, ishtar and rattle are catching dust, as (except for situations where frigs support their sentries) they are implactical compared to alternatives.

Behold the BIG FAT LIE we were all fed last year:

" NPCs will now only target drones in their size category.
Elite frigates and cruisers NPCs will go for small drones and above.
Frigates and Cruisers NPCs will go for medium drones and above.
Battleship NPCs will go for large drones."


The new AI has been broken since the day they installed it. But hey, gotta meet the new Odyssey deadline... bug fixes can wait, right? They'll get it fixed right after the person-to-person direct trade window thingy that still exists for no other reason than to scam new players with.

Yup. Right on that. Any minute now. Zzzzzz.








What? I use trade windows all the time to move things between alts. Just because someone scammed you using a trade window does not mean it should go away. If so, lets remove all contracts, margin trading and.. well trading in general and make the game into click F1 and nothing else.

I agree with all Zilero just stated. Direct trading is usefull.
