Mouse/Cursor issues???

I have a late 2010 iMac 27" (i7/16GB/Latest Lion).

Until recently, the EVE client worked "reasonably well". Now, for some reason, the client often suddenly stops responding to mouse clicks. I also saw where the client thought that the cursor was in a different place. It seemed to be clicking down and to the right of where my mouse cursor was. This happens with both the Magic Mouse and Magic Trackpad. It happens randomly and sometimes recovers a couple minutes later. Other times I had to restart the client, which fixes the issue temporarilly. Nothing is wrong with the hardware mouse works fine outside the EVE client. And yes, I lost ships due to this. Anybody experience this issue?

yeah I've been having the non-response issue a bit lately too. turning my mouse off and back on again has gotten it back working again. not very convenient in the middle of a fight though :(
