The CPD

I've thought about this a lot. Usually I wouldn't speak out against a superior. But in this case, I will;

The Executor has overstepped his bounds. By giving the order for the Shiigeru to use Oblivion on Caldari Prime, he has proven that the CPD operates in direct contrast with the interests of the State.

Using a doomsday on such a large population center would unilaterally harm the Megacorporations. We would have seen stock prices plummet. A popular choice of action among our Shareholders, I'm sure.

And this isn't to mention the political damage it would have caused, whose cost cannot be measured. Additionally, had Caldari Prime been fired upon with Oblivion, it would cost us a valuable bargaining chip and generally useful leverage (whether under Caldari or Gallente occupation,) with the Federation, no longer serving any sentimental or practical value.

Heth's propaganda is in juxtaposition of the Federation's he so despises. His bid to capture Luminaire I believe was simply to secure his position; however, this has proven itself to be a huge military miscalculation of grievous proportions, now laying on him. His claim to have restored the meritocracy is erroneous. Again, a contrived lie to secure public opinion, when in reality I believe he is interested in anything but.

We'll see how these events are spun. I guarantee that they will be.

I propose that we return to the proven system; putting the Chief Executive Panel back into the spotlight and disbanding the CPD. I am confident at this point that the Provists are only going to harm the State further, and wish to push us from our time-honored ways of life.

My thoughts are I wish someone would send me the coordinates next time he has to be in a ship.
It's long past time Heth was removed from power for the good of the State and for the good of the universe.

Tibus Heth is a madman. I'm glad that some Caldari see this.
Frankly, the leaders of both the Caldari State and the Gallente Federation are currently awful.

I think perhaps it is wiser and more respectful for us Gallente to remain out of this thread of discussion. Let the Caldari deliberate their own politics.

Is there any proof that Tibus Heth gave that order? Beyond the words of the Shiigeru's captain, of course. As I've stated elsewhere, I wouldn't broadcast publicly my intentions in my ships if I didn't want to send a message, so she may well have been bluffing or lying about the issue to see if the threat sent the Gallente forces away. Specially, if, as was the case, the Shiigeru had had plenty of time to fire the Oblivion before.

Note that I'm not claiming the Executor didn't give the order, I'd just like to see other information sources on this.

If we are to believe that Heth was serious when he promised to bomb the Gallente portions of Home if the Federation dared an assault, then it shouldn't be surprising. We haven't heard anything from the CPD yet, I imagine in time the truth will eventually surface and I don't believe Heth has enough sense to deny it.

I don't think anyone has proof of where the order came from, or why it wasn't carried out.

Hopefully salvage teams will be able to get close enough to the wreckage at some point to recover the Leviathan's onboard data recorders and we'll know what went down.
