FOUR weeks without petition response?

Yes a petition can take two weeks and even longer. The longest i know about was about 2 months but that was a one time only thing.

Honestly i would just keep being patient, trying to petition again or sending them mails will make it more likely that they get a bit..aggrevated and makes the whole experiense even less plesant for the both of you.
But if its something that really affects your game play i would wait until its been a month, then try to send a new (very polite) petition mentioning that its been pending for that long, and ask if they have any news for you at all, or if there is something else you can do to help sort out the issue.

Good luck Smile

The lack of response (not even "in action" or a comment on it) is worrying me, and it is a very important issue :-/

CCP have a phone number and you are a customer. Any other product or service I paid for and didn't get the service I needed then I'd pick up the phone. In fact I make a point of never purchasing from a company that don't publish a phone number.

That said I've always been happy with petition responses but it's down to personal experience and severity of the issue I guess.

This is true, I've known a petition to take well over a month as well, a lot depends on the section it comes under too.
For example If it's a stuck character petition it's almost always dealt with in hours, but if it's a POS or blueprint type one be prepared for a very long wait.

Fun fact: Pointless petitions take longer to get handled than real concerns.

Sadly CCP Customer Service is clogged down by pointless petitions made by clueless hiseccers.

Had the same few weeks back , took 1.5 week before response and it was just a 'simple thing' .

Market related btw so indeed might depend on what it relates to how fast it is being handled.

The longest it has ever taken me in 3 years is 1 week for a response.

But then, I have not filed one since DUST went live.

Are DUSTies clogging the system along with us, causing the 2+ week delays ?

I've had one take nearly that long before. After about 10 days I replied to the petition stating my displeasre at not having a response yet. Next day I had a reply.

I would like to take a moment and recant my earlier statement. I am a spy planted by Eastasia to sow confusion among the Oceanic ranks. I gave into capitalist greed and betrayed us all. This confession I make willingly out of guilt for my treason and no other reason.

I am so, so sorry to my state and countrymen.

CCP has a petition's desk in their Iceland headquarters. Perhaps you should take a quick trip there, take a number and hang out?

Given that it is Iceland, I am not sure whether or not this would be taken as a threat, or a delicacy. Afterall, Rotting shark meat hits the delicacy category...
