Serious question, why racial cruisers to 4? I thought we only need them to 3 in order to fly all of the battlecruisers.

Seriously, unless your corp is going to kick you out because of missing skills, you can wait on "New and Shiny" for the length of time it takes to train Battlecruisers V and Destroyers V. It's either train it now, once, or train it later, four times.

You have nothing to gain by waiting, and everything to lose. Then again, forum visitors have a lot to gain from you waiting, in the form of your whining and crying, so thanks for taking one for the team?

As for the date, look to past summer expansions to get an estimate. It's likely that when you hear a date, it will be too late.

Because he mistook the fact that you currently need racial frigate 4 in order to inject racial cruiser for needing to have both at 4.
You need both at 3 actually, but because of the above fact you might as well say that you need all racial cruisers to 3 since racial frigate 3 is kind of included in that.

But anyway, for every hull class the prerequisite will be level 3 of the skill for the hull class below it. Frigate 3 -> Destroyer 3 -> Cruiser 3 -> Battlecruiser 3 -> Battleship 3 -> Carrier/Dreadnought/Titan

Because nothing is set in stone until the release...and for all we know..they can change their minds and require lvl 4s... this is EvE, better to be safe than sorry.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

No, that would be logical, and in line with what CCP has stated.

But since it's from a goon it must be wrong.

Let's say 3 days after late spring.

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

There are only 2 things that you can be certain of when it comes to CCP's expansion.

1. Something will be broken / non-functional.
2. There will be whine.

everything else is uncertain however , so we have to wait for ccp's announcement.
