Intergalactic Summit

I am sure by now that everyone here knows of the events that took place in Luminaire today, over the planet most of us know as Caldari Prime.

Diplomacy - what small efforts of it had been made over the years - failed. Tensions rose, fighting broke out and escalated beyond the levels deemed “acceptable” by the Emergency Militia War Powers Act, and as a result, nearly seven kilometers of the Shiigeru, the Leviathan-class titan that had been standing vigilant in orbit for five years, has fallen to the surface of the planet, impacting several hundred kilometers west of one of the major population centers, Arcurio.

Hundreds of thousands of lives were lost in the fighting in the skies over Caldari Prime this evening. For the vast majority, nothing can be done for them now except honoring their memory and their sacrifices.

But for those who have survived, we can prevent further harm from coming to them if we act now.

Medical supplies. Equipment. Portable housing. Reconstruction materials. Food and water. All of these things, they need, or will need in the coming weeks, months, even years.

It doesn’t matter what side of this conflict you consider yourself to be on. Whether you’re Dove, Hawk, Patriot, Liberal, Practical, or something else. Down there, it is no longer about who is Caldari, or who is Gallente. They’re all human, and they all need our help.

CONCORD and the Federation Navy have currently issued a no-fly order to the surface of Caldari Prime. We do not know when it will be lifted. But I want to be ready for when they do, so that we can get down there and help these people.

However, this is not something I can do alone. The amount of supplies required is too great for me to bring in on my own, so I am asking you for your help. I would like to create a stockpile of the following materials, among others, to be ready when the flight restrictions are lifted, so that relief efforts can begin as soon as possible:

• Antibiotics
• Biofuels
• Dairy Products
• Frozen Food
• Hazmat Detection Systems
• Hydrogen Batteries
• Oxygen
• Robotics
• Smartfab Units
• Vaccines
• Water
• Wheat

Anyone wishing to donate to this effort may do so by assigning SCC-authorized contracts to either myself or my corporation, Tyrathlion Interstellar. It would be preferred if donations could be delivered to the Federal Administration Information Center in orbit over Caldari Prime if possible (not the Federal Administration Bureau at the fourth moon), but I am willing to arrange for transport from the systems of Ashab, Eram and Yashunen if that is not feasible.

While I would prefer material donations, if there are no other options available to you, ISK will be accepted, and it will be used to purchase and move these materials directly.

It is my hope that if enough people are willing and able to get involved, we may attract the attention of larger, more official humanitarian entities who have more resources and personnel at their disposal.

I believe I have some supplies floating around my hangers that I am more than willing to donate to the relief effort. I will make arrangements to have them moved to Luminaire as soon as I can.

Additional supplies will be contracted over to you on behalf of myself and Moira. Corp later today. Thank you for organizing this relief effort, and thanks also to those working to save lives within the Luminaire System despite ongoing ground combat.

You can be assured you will have whatever support I can offer. I am available for medical supplies and crews transfer as well as time sensitive relocation of goods and personnel.

Beyond that, I will transfer an amount of supplies and medical goods to the station you have instructed.

The Av'Nim Family has pledged what it can in support of your efforts...a delivery has been made from Av'Nim Industries to the Federal Administration Information Center as requested.

I'll be preparing a shipment of well needed medical supplies then heading that way myself.

Scope News ships will are on standby to locate and retrieve the stranded news teams. These ships will also be carrying what is required for relief and more. New Scope personnel arriving the planet will also interview people on the planet from all nationalities and political affiliations in an attempt to decipher what has happened. Interviews will be optional however those who submit to a short interview will receive extra rations. However, full relief will be provided to as many people as possible, even if they opt out of the interview.

As for myself, I will dedicate some of my assets towards the relief effort. I have my own blockade runners on standby fully loaded with relief supplies and personnel. We will attempt to deliver this support regardless of the dangers, all men and women participating have volunteered. Larger shipments of aid will be transported once the situation is more stable. I am working on mustering my allies and friends across the cluster to provide similar support.

Technically, yes, though it is simpler to track if donations of materials are made instead of raw ISK.

Local authorities will likely want some level of accountability for who donated what, and that can become difficult when ISK is involved on our end rather than just straight-up materials.

I will be unavailable to respond for the next several hours, but I will be keeping an eye out here and on my mailbox.
