EDIT: Thread closed - congrats Caldari! Or at least, I have no basis for my suspicions anymore unless I troll the killboards for known caldari alliances, but that is too much work (for now)

Been largely out of game for a few weeks now, but I noticed an interesting trend: Caldari militia first catching up to the Gallente militia in kills, and then outkilling the Gallente militia by a wide margin.

First reaction was great, the Caldari are getting more active - but I hardly see any of them out in lowsec the few times I've been on.

Then I took a look at caldari.eve-kill.net. The graph has the Caldari consistently losing more ships than they kill, and has been for a while. And then I noticed an interesting anomaly on the front page, and I have linked the pilot's losses in question:

http://caldari.eve-kill.net/?a=pilot_detail&plt_id=1578122&view=losses&m=3&y=2013

Is this a PR campaign to manipulate the in game stats, and one guy got sloppy and some of it showed up in eve-kill? Has the Caldari militia really come to this?

Or is there another killboard that the caldari militia are using that shows more accurate kill and loss stats?

Nope, it works. Some browsers don't parse the ampersand. Fix that and you're good to go.

The gals have a very good working propaganda machinery... right?
BTW the amarrs are eating minmatar kids for breakfast, the minmatar paint every morning their butts blue and green and prey to a tree in their woods and the gals have a hedonistic high-heel fetish party every evening^^

This is obviously manipulating kills. I'm surprised that someone can even reship and undock that fast. Who's to say that this has anything to do with militia stats and not just someone trying to pad their own killboard? Or a frog spy? Or just propaganda?

At the end of the day, regardless of the answers to the above, they mean nothing. Who's winning the war has very little, if anything, to do with killboard stats.

Only that what I see on the killboards is the reverse trend of what I see in the militia stats tab, except for this apparent slip up.

Tried a new formula today for breakfast. Instead of pork sausage I grabbed minnie child sausage for my HotDog.
Tastes great!
Need to domesticate more minnies! Maybe I can even blob jita supermarket with that product.

More propaganda plz!

33 kills is nothing, and maybe he was really gallente who wanted to waste some caldari ammo, ( ibis and pod does not cost anything to lose) so he actually won isk war for gallente.

As said killmails does not mean anything.

I sometimes also swarm cheap alts to death to test some player reactions, especfially when they lose sec status.

Why is your obsession with KB stats so? If i rejoined qcats would i get kicked for my horribad stats. Big smile

Back to being on topic, southern renegade and other dudes have been taking out a LOT of general militia fleets (props to them), hence you would see an increase in kills compared to the past when very few would take public fleets out.

I actually saw this guy in local shortly after they apparently did all that and he was in a non-fw npc corp. Reeks of a set-up to me.

Are you suggesting coconuts migrate?

In the card game 'poker', they use a term called 'tilt'.

Maybe the guy just tilted?

The only way that could explain it is if those general militia fleets are fighting gal mil general militia fleets, because if they wree fighting any of the gal corps in black rise the API should pull down the losses, and you wouldn't see the reverse trend on eve kill.

As far as my obsession - I see the increased kills, and honestly that's fantastic. Except I see no Caldari out at all to shoot... and that makes me a sad panda. And the killboards show the reverse trend, hence my suspicisions.

I just want to solve the "Militia stats show one trend: and killboard show an opposite trend". It's not that some kills are missing, it's that the trend is reversed.

EDIT: Look at http://caldari.eve-kill.net now. See the red line CONSISTENTLY above the green line. Something is up. That's why i asked if there is a more accurate caldari militia wide killboard. Otherwise, I suspect there's a lot more of what accidentally showed up on the kb going on.

Hmmm.. seems Quildars only kill outside of high sec is with Nasranite Watch and the Hidden Squid society. I guess someone forgot they had an all characters API key on the killboard :)

Ah well, time for vehement denial from ex-pervs, but I'm honestly not that surprised it'd be connected to them.

eve-kill doesn't include contributions due to alliances. Most of the decent Caldari corps are in an alliance.

Oh? Well that could definitely explain it then. Consider thread closed :)

I think you're on to something chatgris, I think we will start to farm ibis alts since your tinfoilhattery suggested it :D
