What are some good Amarrian and Gallente mission runners for level 4s? I need to make some money so I can get back into Incursions and war making. I have a Navy Issue Megathron but I need to skill into her first. But I need to know what are the good mission runners for these two races since most of the info on the net seems dated.... Very dated.

I hear the apoc is good, also the abbodon is you have the skills to fit it.

I have a abaddon which would make a good mission runner but the capacitor is horrible I find myself running back for recharges alot and I have mostly 4 and 5 capacitor skills. How is the tank on the apoc? Most of the missions I get are point blank in your face deadspace encounters.

the apoc tank for level 4 is fine so long as you dont aggro the entire pocket. it is not abaddon level. but it isnt no slouch. as for that the apoc would be good, but with the abaddon's bonus to damage I would say the abaddon is better at Close Quarters. the apoc really is known for being the amar sniper.

-N. Geddon:
~1.1k dps at Scorch range.
-25% rof bonus = +33% dmg bonus
Bandwidth for full flight of 5 sentries and extra dronebay for meds/lights for frig rats.
Need drone SP, not noob friendly
Cheapest faction boat. Cost only ~15 mil higher than Abaddon.

-N. Apoc:
~700 dps at Scorch range
+25% range
No dmg bonus
High base cap regen, low cap usage, noob friendly
Expensive, cost almost 2x as much as N. Geddon

-Abaddon:
~850 dps at Scorch range
+25% armor resist, but somewhat countered by -1 low slot
Low base cap regen, no cap usage bonus, unlike apoc/geddon
Lowest costing, ~15 mil lower than N. Geddon, half cost of N. Apoc

-Navy Apoc is worth getting over regular version, for the extra 8th low. It makes a big difference.
-Navy Geddon is worth getting over regular version, for the extra dronebay. Unlike regular geddon, there's room for meds/lights along with 5 sentries, and you'll want these meds/lights to handle any frig rats that get close.
-There is no Navy Abaddon, but if CCP adds one with 8th low, it'd be worth getting. :D

Depending on where your skills are, the dominix and Hyperion are both very capable mission runners, though the hype relies a lot more on kiting. For amarr, IIRC the apocalypse is relatively easy to get into, and both navy battleships work well enough. The navy geddon isn't too much more expensive than an abaddon, last I checked.

^^^ This.

Navy Domi when you can.

MJD and sentry drones.

This is not a signature.

If you can use drones and fly both Amar and Gallante, you're better off with N. Geddon than N. Domi. Better dps, better projection. N. Domi has better tank, but the excess tank is hardly much use in missions.

You should give logistics a try in incursions. You don't have to spend 1b+ for a pimped up ship, and your job doesn't use ammo.

An Apoc will do fine for L4s, even with a full t2 fit, nice and cheap and reliable.

Navy Apoc is much less skill intensive than the others.

I've ran missions with both races, enjoyed gallente more in the end and that's what I fly now, I'd suggest navy Dominix.

you did not mention your drone skills.

Where do you plan on missioning? The ships and races discussed have different damage types. Having a flight of sentries is handy in amarr space with all the TD'ing so I would suggest the geddon over the apoc... missioning in gallenete space will see the domi and the megathron work well. They can both field a flight of sentries and lights. Its going to depend on skills and rat types which one you choose. If you have strong drone skills, ie T2 sentries.. the domi will probably be the best all rounder

I can vouch for the NApoc being a great Lvl 4 runner for lower SP characters. A good fit will cost around 1b - with a chunky Deadspace repper. As long as you pop frigates first you'll barely need to use drones, and it's range is good from 0-80km juggling TC scripts and crystals.

Just don't aggro the whole pocket and change your resists to suit the mission (I have learnt this the hard way.... goddamn scramming elite frigates....

As with any Amarr ship, sticking to laser-friendly missions (Blood Raiders etc.) will have you blazing through barely breaking into armour, but Guristas missions with heavy TD are like pulling teeth.

A simple navy large repper is more than enough on an napoc with 2+2 hardeners, repper and 3 heatsinks.

nightmares and a high sec island in amarr + the right npc corp to mission for will give you isk you need .

heck if I end up leaving null sec I will prolly join a dedicated incursion corp.

Do you have some cap boosters fitted ? I used to mission in a Abaddon ages ago and with some cap boosters fitted you just inject when running low on cap. Worked pretty well. Otherwise I'd say the Apoc for ease of hitting things at long range with Mega Pulse lasers. I used both.

Some cap boosters? Why do you need more than one?

As I personally use Navy Apocalypse to run L4s I can confirm it makes a great L4 boat even with my relatively sub-par skills. I tried an Abaddon too, but the cap booster ligistics were irritating.
