Why not? Because I thought out making my character when I did, instead of randomly clicking buttons to get through it as quickly as possible. If you are one of the people in the game who later regret it, shame on you for not having foresight. Lesson learned, I hope.

Would I be annoyed if CCP allowed it? Yes. It would make no sense at all. I don't care as much about the small resource allocation, as the fact that it would make no sense at all. You are changing your heritage? Yea, good luck with that.

No not at all.

I chose mine for specific reasons when i created Jint, and to be honest I dont support changing it.

The majority of people who want to are those who, in the early days, min-maxed their chatacter to start with because it was 'the best' and gave the most starting skills/skillpoints..... and those who buy characters.

Race is trivial in Eve meaning you have no advantage choosing one or the other aside from a little bit of sp. So, there's really no point in machinating over the issue of changing race. I would be ok with it without the sculpting. It's just not an issue for me. Sure, Avatars are fun to mess around with for about 5 minutes, maybe fit this/that clothing but at the end of the day race means squat in this game. Avatars don't even have racial clothing.

For me, the game is the game-play and race plays no role in that unless you're a role player, which I'm not. It would be different if race conveyed advantage/disadvantage of various traits that actually had an affect on your game-play. Then yeah, race would have more significance.

Once upon a time your race did determine your base attributes, but now it is just a vestige that they keep developing without adding to any game play that is actually happening.
