Hey guys, going to be joining Minmatar FW soon but I was wondering, where should I relocate to so I can be close to the action?? Amamake seems like a logical choice and I can set up jump clones there, but are the gates camped by pirates 24/7?? I need to haul in a small armada of T1 frigs..or should I just plop them into the high-sec system next to Amamake?

Thanks!!

Avoid Amamake if you can (unless you are mainly flying fast frigates). It's usually infested with pirates and subject to gate and station camping. The "back route" through Dammalin to Gulmoragod is usually safer and sees less traffic.

Alternatively... set up shop in Auga, Kourmonen, and/or Huola which are basically the "focal points" of the warzone (hint: you'll earn "brownie points" with some of the more established militia corps and alliances who live there). Some of those systems even have rudimentary markets seeded by fellow militia mates.

If you want to be more offensive then go Auga or Arzad.
If you want to be more defensive go Avenod (just 1 jumps from HighSec) and help to drive out Amarr out of Aset.
If you can't decide then go for Eszur.

1) Iron Oxide usually doesn't visit our neck of the woods.
2) Did you just reference a 1990s Nintendo game?

yes, yes it does seem like the logical choice. Don't let these liars scare you, Mother Amamake protects her children. It is the perfect system to gear up for fighting those evil slavers.

Also, I do not have an agenda that would bias this advice. Just get some ships down there and see for yourself!!

Show me on the doll where fweddit touched you. And how's that IO university going? Still having number issues? I mean I did smash the last BS fleet Annah tried to take out.

Erszur seems pretty well connected, not far from a market (Hek) and not overly congested in itself.

We have taken Aset today

Still loving Eszur despite the CCP hate ;)

If we get enough locals we can camp all the gates ;)
