What is the best Missile ratting ship?

I know this is VERY vague, I just want some opinions on the some of the best Missile Ratting ships.
Most of you are going to say the CNR, or Golem. If that is what you like then say so, but really I am looking for other ships.

you dont have to fit specifically for ratting with the manticore and you would be suprised at how often someone does something stupid out there back before i had the skills to really fly a pvp fit (both sp and player skills) i almost caught a few industrials, a barge once and managed to make a few ratting battleships run away... if i had the know how then that i do now (like fitting a point even if your wingman is fitting one) i probably would have nailed the indies and maybe the barge.

There's no pilot faction missile boat, at most only drone boats with launcher hardpoints

really surprised no one has said tengu.. even with a t2 fit there wont be much you cant do solo

i use heavy missile\ab\small booster\invul\explosive hard CERBERUS in low sec to do lvl 4s. works.like a charm.

fast, good dps, 100km range,


tested it in 0.0 on serpentis 15 BS and arpund 10 BC. tank holds no problem and due to kinetic.bonus u kill fast

Depends on where you are ratting, and how "safe" you are while doing so.

+1 for sacrilege. It can easily rat in a pvp fit with full tackle. Cap stable with mwd or rep + neut, without cap booster (but fit one anyway.

it's the cheapest option which gives you all this.

If its safe space and you're using it purely to make isk then whatever gives best damage+projection at the most frequent combat range. I'd say Golem or CNR if you're using Cruise. Tengu is good too but will have slightly less dps and less damage selectability.
