I'd just like to make a statement that if we were to get some new music, I'd like to see Sigur Rós make it. Or maybe have them make music for one of the upcoming expansions. The dude owns, and it'd be nice to know that there is more music in the future than dubsteppes and technos.

I'd say, if anyone should be making more space music, it is Laura Barratt. Cool

But rock xylophones and foot-pedal organs just don't sound as cool in space.

My personal favourite when gate camping or rating is 50-60's cool stuff by Miles Davis, Lennie Tristano, Chet Baker, Tom Jobim, Monk or the like.

In my opinion it would be pretty nice to have some jazzy techno sometimes.

If you were referring to Laura, she's actually the one behind all the music in Master of Orion II, and that was THE space game to the 90's 4x strategy players.

Bring back the jukebox before adding new music - without that EvE is best played with the sound off. Sad

Strangely enough, I was referring to Sigur Rós and their approach to music.

My fault then, although Laura does dabble in xylophone herself nowadays, or so it seems. No offence meant, in any case. Smile

Saw Sigur Ros live a couple of weeks ago. You may now tell me how jealous you are.

To be honest though, you may as well turn down the ingame music and play one of their albums through Media Player in the background if that's what you want.

most icelanders dont like Sigur Ros, and I think ccp agrees with them.
