They drop of rare rats (aka NPC pirats). See here.

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

Understand...you can't....Big smile

Your choice is to go out and buy plex and buy them off the market.
Or, buy a character with skills, join a renter corp, and spend months hoping for that Officer to show...Lol

Either way, your going to have to buy plex, or wait a year or two....

Just a friendly tip: if someone sees you flying with officer weapons on your ship you're going to get ganked.

/just checked jita, there's one Tobias' 1400mm Howitzer up for 5 bil.

The best way? Find some fool that flies a battleship or strategic cruiser fitted out with the officer mods you want, hunt them, find out when they are in a mission or whatever, passive target them, scan them for intel on their fit, and assemble a gank fleet of 20-25 Catalysts or Thrashers (depending up on their resists).

Blow them up. Half of the officer modules on their ship will drop. Scoop the loot fast, then pay your gank fleet well for their actions.

Bonus points if you do it to them in an incursion by pretending to be a logistics pilot, getting their trust via several speedily run incursion sites, then surprising them by waiting until they are primaried, then jamming the other logi in fleet and warp scrambling your target.

officer mods are a noob trap, don't buy them, don't fit them. ever.

the value of the mods on a ship needs to be in relation to the value of the hull and the protection the hull can give to them, not even a 250m t1 battleship brick deserves a 5+bil mod in it. they barely justify faction mods. and a 500m t3? even when officer mods could make the ship better, the hull offers no protection to the mod.

only ship hulls in the range of the multi billion do, those are super carriers and titans. and only if fielded in a large OP with lots of failsafes.

0.0 space

Bring probes

There are good ships,

And wood ships,

And ships that sail the sea

But the best ships are Spaceships

Unless your'e a carebear like the moron I quoted and the loot fairy tells you to **** off, not dropping anything so you go back to ganking miners in Hulks.

Leadership is something you learn. Maybe one day, you'll learn that.

This.

I'm happy to use low-end faction modules on tech 2 hulls and will happily put a 25m hardener on a 160m Ishtar hull if a 2m tech 2 one will not fit. But anything more than that is just BEGGING for people to shoot your ship, seize your tasty officer mods and sell them in Jita to someone with a ship that's going to last longer like a Titan.

Easy if you have time, go to NPC space and chain the belts either a system with a station or adjacent systems.

I've gotten 2 within 3 hours after a patch/expansion.
