Yeah, the flood of no-content +1s doesn't do your thread any favours, it just serves to bury any real discussion of your platform there may be under a sea of spam. It also raises the suspicion that you prompted them for the show of support, which a genuine contender doesn't really need to do.

Your alliance (probably, I haven't checked) isn't big enough to bloc-vote you in so you will need to appeal beyond your base, and you can't really do that if the undecided voter opens your thread and sees nothing but +1 +1 +1 +1 +1 +1 +1 +1 +1 +1 +1 +1 for 6 pages.

His alliance is big enough to blocvote in their preferred candidate. Mynnna can write nothing but obscene limericks and 19th century cocktail receipes in his CSM thread here and still get elected. You don't have that luxury.

If you get elected, will you be this petulant and dismissive to other CSM members if they're from alliances or coalitions that you may not think highly of?

I mean seriously, Scatim was trying to give you legitimate, helpful advice and your only reaction was "LOL GOON WHATEV". You'd expect that from some random highsec scrublords in GD, sure, but from someone trying to gain election to a player council that will have people from all different walks of Eve (and most certainly one ~goon~ at least)? The only name that should be on the ballot. The way Core ALWAYS puts everyone else's need above his own, to kepp our beloved game Eve fun above all else. I have no doubt Core be the biggest PLUS to come to Eve in a long time.

To be fair, even someone not from my alliance who used that as a campaign platform is probably deserving of 4th or 5th choice on the STV ballot.

why would u say that. if u want to make a easy comment then please bother too look at his reply first and put your remark in that content.

I specifically dont hate anyone in eve, its a game. I do have preferences for certain parts of the game which i enjoy most as a player obviously. But that has nothing to do with any opinion of anyone. I flew with goons actually on 2 occasions in my eve time, once though FA and once from my moslty harmless days in the north. If anything i have always been highly impressed by for example their logistic skills;), their comms on the other hand can do my head in at given times.

the fact that i reply on 1 post from someone doesnt mean i have hate feelings. Hate is a big word often used too easy in both EVE and RL. Especially a CSM member should look further then hate. as he should, in my opinion, be more of a teamplayer in csm, representing players, then the gamer who loves his part of the game.

words as hate and arrogance are big words, as i stated before. Anyone who ever flew or flies with me knows better. i realise trying to say that " i aint" on a forum is pretty poinless. So i am gonna trust on judgement of people that know me. Or know people saying otherwise.

Eve forums have a nice feature where u can easily look up posts from a poster. It struck me that the posts and content of some players all are negative about a whole line of candidates. I guess thats politics or campain spamm ?

The more people say there is no chance for a election towards smaller candidates the better that is for the morale.
Some poeple even wish certain candidates bad luck ?

lets see who makes the first cut, gets 200 votes, and will be listing his/hers official announcements and take it from there ;)
So far i have recieved 16 mails from people promising stuff if i tell my voters to put them high on the 14 list.
i guess naive is a word you can put on me ;)

If you ask me the Guy is showing some integurity. I like to read up on the candidates and most and alot of existing CSM's are backed by large alliances. This guy seems to be a genuine player that cares about the game. Not some super power lacky that does the bidding of his alliance pay masters in trying to turn the game in their favour.
I'll vote for the small guy who wants to make a difference.
As I said I will read everyones posts and make the judgement my self.
This guy sounds decent and I felt I had to post after the negative comments above. ( not just the quoted post but the latest thread t in this post) Hey he is probably no politician and is writting in a language which is not his native. He has done a good job explaining his points. Yep I agree it is easy to Goon bash... as it was BOB bashing back in the day, but hate...!!!
All I can say is the post may have been supposed to be helpful but read between the lines and it looks like a slight from an existing CSM maybe worried about the new guy getting voted in over him... Politics I think its called.

It is my simple opinion that representation of the players in this game should extend beyond those who are in the largest alliances. While it's easy to get a spot with all of goonswarm behind you, clearly not everyone believes that the goon approach is the right approach as evidenced by continued participation in other corps/alliances throughout the game. It cannot continue to be assumed that the goon approach is the approach favored by the majority of EVE players. Time for CCP to listen to some of the other people in this game, and for that reason I will absolutely be voting for Core.

It is certainly refreshing seeing a candidate who seems to be interested in helping CCP move in the right direction. Most of the blogs I read for other applicants propose blind dedication to the ideals of one alliance or another. This guy looks like he's trying to make the game better, not promote his personal opinions or attempt to change game mechanics to favor one group's style of play.
I'd rather see someone win who is interested in making EVE better as a whole, and for that reason I'll be voting for Corebloodbrothers.
