Cyno effect... ummm ... CCP please take note

how about cyno in color matching the system of the cyno out?

I must say it is almost funny, that the new one (while lots better than current) is still nowhere near as cool as the first cyno effect.

Same goes for the jump effect. The old one looked way cooler.
Also miss the cool ship materializing... that video someone linked above from the jumpdrive is very cool with the exception of the jumpout flash. That looks way cooler in BSG (the jump effect in BSG is stunning - the series not the game).

Also what I still miss:
- Sensor booster effects that won't give you eyecancer
- ECCM that won't give you eye cancer
- Tracking computer that won't give you eyecancer
- Old style POS shield effects

all i hear is whine,whine,whine,whine,whine... just for this they should stop making the new cyno. the new cyno/jumping is freaking AWESOME. the old one looked fcking retarted... also, if you just want the old 1 back, bad luck, get over it

Thats what they're working on. Other videos of the new build are in the related stuff, If you care about it then you will look for them though i really like the new cyno-in effect the red boom i could get used to. And on one of the other videos you see a nyx cyno-out and it looks like a ship from star trek going into warp... With the little flash as it accelerates to insane speeds.

We know and the Nyx stuff isn't in as it's actually made by a player afaik.

The new cyno jump effect, (which took years) looks like a smartbomb effect simply bolted on. Then ship appearance timings make it look even worse. So much for the awesome that we were promised.

Those are really cool and great looking. But we'll never have anything as good I'm afraid, they love smartbomb effects too much.

HOLY CRAP Thats a hot effect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now thats what ccp should be striving to impliment can you imagine a staggered fleet jumping in like that that would be the most wicked jump ever and reverse it for the jump out effect!

first one is EPIC for a Jump effect

second one should totaly be the jump bridge effect for both ends :-P

Also to the cyno staff, FOR FUTURE ITERATION - not winter. An idea was brought up in one of the chats. Since you are making one effect to rule them all currently, how hard would it be (in the future) to make them racial.

example -

caldari ships have blue effects.
gallente - green
minmatar - red
amarr - yellow.

Right now just get the effect with the hammer of Thor thing going on with tons of lightning and make it prettier later on.

Why Can't I have a picture signature.

Also please support graphical immersion, bring back the art that brought people to EvE online originaly.

on TQ: after update(TiDi etc.)


FC: enemy fleet jumping in!

oh yeah great idea....the effects look great, but i don't think it will be good for the node/peoples their PC's
