Yikes, just saw this event happening and it's all sold out. What a bummer. Hey CCP Guard - any chance of tag-along if I be showing up early enough and there are some no-shows?

Been waiting for a CCP event in SF for almost 9 years!

I work two blocks from the venue, but it already appears to be "sold out." Oh, well - guess I'll just have to crash the party somehow...

Seriously - why reserve a venue with a 100 person size limit in the Bay Area, where the nine surrounding counties are home to about 7 million people? (That's 21 times the population of Iceland - heck, just the San Francisco population alone is double the population of Iceland...)

Next time: book a concert hall or hotel ballroom! Roll

I live off the L (I can hear it passing from my room) and work off the M so it should be very easy to get to especially since I go around that Metreon area pretty often. Hopefully I can find someone to cover my bar shift or at least leave early since Tuesdays are usually slow at work. I should know for sure by Friday. I also noticed that there is a cancel event button on the website, which hopefully will open the event to other people for any of us who discover we can't make it.

The door will operate on a first come first serve basis. The tickets are free and we won't be able to hold a spot for you if someone else gets there first. I know it's not the biggest venue but we only have it for two hours and then we'll swarm the bars in the neighbourhood :). Look forward to seeing you there!
