Upping my augmentation when at 30 already

I remapped to speed up my drone skills. I had a +3 augmentation on Memory and pumped it up to 30 with my discretionary points. If I 'unplug' my +3 Memory augmentation (thus destroying it) and try to plug in a +4 Memory augmentation what happens?

+31 Memory; a freed up discretionary point that I can only use when remapping; or after destroying my +3 chip, it won't let me install the +4 chip cuz that would put me past 30.

Your memory will just go to 31.

There is no barrier at 30.
