KK......Got to point where I want to focus train this character 100% for forseeable future on pvp related matters.

I can fly the ships I am focusing on, the main one being the Vexor for now.
But, I want to fit it (and other ships that and one level higher) top notch.

I have yet to use any of my neural remaps.
Seems like the time.
So, knowing the foregoing, what do the veteran experts suggest so as to get me where I want to go the fastest?

Since you need to train Engineering, Electronics and Mechanic to support you ship. and also require Drones and Gunney skills for hunting, i would not suggest to remap one or two attributes as you would cross-train skills in different field.

But i would get an advice that pyramid remapping, as many skills require intelligence and perception as main attribute
you can remap like the following picture (ignore the chinese :D)

drones skill require Memory as the main, so........

anyway, i has already remap like the picture above :D

For a combat pilot you'll need to train support skills (engineering mechanics etc) and ship and weapon skills. Supports are int/mem, ship and weapon are typically per/wil. However, until you get into some of the higher end T2 ships or capital ships, you won't have a year's worth of each to train.

My advice will be to train whatever skills (supports and the weapons and ship skills) you need to 2-3 using your current even mapping, then once you reach the point where you have a bunch of skills to train to 5 (engineering, electronics, drones, whatever prerequisites for the ships you want) then remap to the attributes for those skills.

I would go straight up max Perc / Intel or max Intel / Perc, unless you are missing like all ur drone skills (wich you cant be since ur gallente) having the points in mem is a waste, drone skills are pretty short anyway at that stage.

Evemon will tell you almost everytime filling up 150+ days of support, weapon, and drones that either intel / perc or Perc / intel is best remap, depending on wich of the weapon or support skills you lack the most. The drone skills and the secondary skills have basically no impact on ur training time this early, unless your focus training just 1 section at a time wich is not recommended unless its a char your training to sell or not actively played.

This is ofc within the first year of your char.

Thank you for the information. I had already downloaded Evemon, but after the posts and upon consideration, took some time tonight and worked out a plan for about 125 days. I had my initial free remap and still have my two bonus plans in reserve.

Your posts and feedback were very helpful. Thank you.

Generally the most efficient method, SP wise, is to use the 2 attribute only method, Int/Mem, Per/Will etc
The downside to this is that it is only really suitable for a character who will do nothing other than sit in a station while training

An equal split (7 each) between Per & Int gives a pretty good training boost to most groups, with only the Cha focused ones getting less than 2k+ per hour.

A slight varient on the above is go 6/5/3 with the +3 going into mem, this gives slightly better results in Drones and some Industry skills.

Cybernetics 1 is probably the most important skill to get done asap ... +3 Implants give the best SP/hr boost for thier cost
+4 Implants run a very close second.

Good advice. You can put a ~1 year list of skills into EVEmon, and it will tell you the optimal remap for completing it.

As a new player I strongly advise you not to go for a very specialised remap like Max Perc / Will or Int / Mem - those are for characters that can spend a year training a single class of skills. You will proably want to go for something like Perc = Int

Anyway, download EVEmon and seek out its advice. Rememebr that you will need lots of engineering, mechanics and electronics skills, as well as those flashy drones, command and gunnery skills!

Intelligence/Perception equal split.

Train drone skills that are x1 or x2 to V, the rest to III or so

Train all non-drone ship skills to the best you want 'em (bunch of Vs in gunnery and fitting, basically, and cruiser T1/T2 skills as desired)

Swap your map to Memory/Int or Memory/Per unequal split (memory primary).

Train them drone skills to V for 12 months.

When you get a new remap, never map drone skills again because you have them all.

Done.

I'm not too sure about the nueral remap my friend, but I would have to say that you should train MWDs to get you where you want to go the fastest! I just kidding. Apparently you've already had your post answered and I'm late to the party, but the recommendation of EVEMON is about the best thing a new player can do. See ya in the space lanes brother!
