Ask the playerbase about the 10 year anniversity?

Why isn't CCP putting out polls and asking us about what we would like for the 10 years aniversity? 250k subscribers increases the size of the think tank a couple orders of magnitude greater than just a few folks in a boardroom.

CCP should tap into our creativity?Big smile

What I'ld like to see is CCP do something edgy and risky with the gameplay mechanics...

Yeah, but how many of those subscriptions are just one player with multiple accounts? Probably quite a lot.

I hope to god it isn't the Gnosis or those Pirate Frigates. Those Ships are way to awesome to see a month or two of solid use then descend into overpriced hanger ornaments that most players see once in a blue moon.

Unless they add them to the SOE and Pirate Faction Stores to keep the supplies rolling in. If not then I hope it isn't those and they are planning to seed them.

Interesting. CCP lists it as subscribers, not subscriptions. You'd think they mean subscriptions; but given they have access to the impact of Power of 2, etc. one would think they'd know what a subscriber is and what a subscription is. Maybe the inclusion of the Chinese player base skews those numbers a bit more than anecdotal, in-game evidence would suggest.

Blizzard will define what a subscriber is within their press releases (Usually). I'm surprised CCP doesn't include it in the splurge of text at the bottom of those press releases.

I am going to trust the developers of a growing MMO to know what their player base wants. IMHO X-mas was the shizz.

And yes, I am drinking 16 year Lagavulin. Expect my responses to be light hearted then bitter as the night goes on.

It is their anniversary, not ours. CCP should close the forum and shut down the game for a week and spend it with their families. How cool would this be? Cool
