Description: Hi /My Eve o/

So 1 and 1/2 year ago i decided to change from 0.0 renter carebear to full time pvpler. So i did what any other pilot in my situation would have done and joined RvB. After some month i was totally bitter ... i still miss it though.
I joined a small german piracy corp and that is where this video begins. The first fight is just 1 month after i switched from RvB frig fights to lowsec BCs fights.

Please take your time and download this video ;-)
I really appreciate constructive criticism, thank you very much in advance!

I really enjoyed that! Good watch during lunch hour at work :)

Its nice that you prove off grid boosters are good, and not "Overpowered", you guys fight some really nicely engaged fights, but u do lose a couple here and there.

Looks like u had fun making it, can't wait till the next one.

I'm obviously biased but that is a goddamn fine piece of art.

Thanks Carlos

Really enjoyed that, great piloting, good editing and nice soundtrack too (If anyone else feels the need to find out, the Dr Dre remix is 'Still' by JJ) Great flying, keep it up.

Well .. a Cyna that points 53km and goes ~5000m/s is a bit overpowered if you ask me :) But then again most of the opponents had boosters.
Yeah, i had fun making it. But i was glad when it was finished. It was frustrating at time, especially if you fixed some errors but rendered the wrong file .. for 14 hours :S

I can also recommend "jj - Ecstasy". The whole list of music i used can be found here. (Or in the credits of the movie)

@Mac Tir
Yeah, i find comms important in small/midscale videos, boring without them.

@are34
Haha, sometimes we work well together and sometimes not so much. Compared to TURN LEFT or Tuskers we still have some thinks to learn or get a better at.

Thanks everyone for the grate feedback.

l0rd Carlos, you did a f*cking excellent job for this video. This is definitely one of the best small gang videos that I've seen in a very long time on here. Really well done.

The only criticism that I have is that some of your transitions are a bit sloppy. In one of them, your layer that you used to blur out the names faded at the same time as your other stuff, so you could read the names of people in local. In another one of them the different layers didn't fade in a very clean way and the transition was a bit staggered. I would recommend dropping a black solid in a track above the rest of your footage and just fade that in when you are at the end of the clip. That way you don't have to f*ck with fading multiple tracks at the same time or any of that bull****, you can control everything from one track.

Also confirming that Turn Left are cool bros and fantastic pilots.

Miriam Sasko was a very important inspiration, if you don't know his work you should check it out. Very well done small scale videos.

Yeah, i guess you talk about the Hrober fight? The one with the falcons.
Thats because i edit it in another way. The idea with the solid black is brilliant, i try to keep that in minds for the next time.

In the TURN LEFT armor cruiser fight? If yes, i notice that and fixed it ... but rendered the wrong file /o\
Just like the different kind of reds in the overview. But rendering took 14 Hours and i just could not wait any more.

They are ti.ts! I flow with them again some days ago .. http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_related&adjacent&kll_id=16799624
Frapsed it, will probably make a small clip about it some time next week.

Thanks for your criticism and help.

Really nice video! And getting mentioned made my day <3 - you are certainly very welcome for my videos.

In any case, I was certainly entertained, even though you stole at least one song that was on the short list for me if I ever did another video (the Amélie one). Nice fleet compositions, well presented information, good music.

No idea why you have this few comments. Probably because of file size. Shouldn't matter, definitevly worth the download.

Also, in case you haven't already, look at EveGer - the video has been crossposted and received warmly :)

You're very welcome. I'm always willing to help people. Just keep on doing what you're doing. I'm excited to see what you come up with next.

One other thing you might think about doing is doing a couple of test renders when making something this large. For instance, I regularly do a 15 second render of part of the move to make sure that everything looks right before I render out the whole thing. You could also make a render at a really low resolution (like 640x360) and low bitrate just to watch the whole thing and see how the movie flows, check your transitions, that kind of thing. That way you can check to make sure everything is correct before banging out a really ****ing long render.

All in all enjoyed the vidya a whole lot.
Editing, fights, music, quality of the recording, the comms - all top notch.

But please, for the love of gods, remove the system sounds. High pitch sound every two seconds kills the nice mood the music sets up quite fast.

Other than that, 10/10, would eat a pizza again.
