I cant imagine them not being on the nex store. The problem with players accepting RL purchasing of vanity items is that vanity items will then only be sold for RL cash from then on.

CCP has said NEX is no longer a priority and it was a mistake to introduce it when they did. So one can only assume they wouldn't then turn around and add a huge expansion to the NEX store in the form of ship skins, because that would totally be going back on that "new direction" stuff.

So yeah, NEX store.

Everyone is well aware of this by now im sure.

Now, if new ship colors were presented as freebies instead of valued customizations, then everyone would color their ships. When everyone colors their ship the effect of producing a colored ship is diminished in value. In contrast, having more value in ship color adds additional dynamic to the amount of isk lost from a kill mail. Dynamics make things more interesting

I prey that 'Rainbow' will be an option if they do bring it in. Battles would be so much more colourful.

that first example is exactly how it should be implemented. and heck, as long as it is for a reasonable price (100-500 aur since our ships will eventually go pop) they could sell the paint in the NEX store.
