You know, you are not allowed to profit from it in any way, right? Otherwise, you are connecting to the EVE servers illegally.. right?

So, if it really is just to learn, okay. But if you think you might make a profit... no, no.

Did Sreegs leave CCP yet? I hear he's on the way out.

It's his replacement I'd worry about, whoever that might be.

I haven't heard anything about that, got a source? I don't see any improvement either way. We're going to be suck in perpetual limbo of never knowing what's EULA-legal or not because CCP won't say anything more concrete than "you may or may not be breaking the EULA and we may or may not ban all your accounts and/or applications". Combine that with ninja-edits to 3 year old posts without announcement and this new ridiculous "developer license" designed to protect CCP and you can see why I'm not going to write another app for EVE online again -- and as I said in my previous post I don't think writing apps for EVE Online is a good idea right now.
